Adrian J. Thomas's Online Review Report Card

I read through most of these reviews prior to my appointment with Dr. Thomas. I was skeptical on how things would go and concerned I would spend another 6+ months in pain before someone would truly listen. That was completely not the case! Dr. Thomas came in (smiling) and thoroughly went through all of my symptoms and the results of my X-rays and MRI. He asked questions, listened to my answers and my concerns. I was very impressed. My entire interaction with New Hampshire Neurospine Institute was amazing. They promptly returned my calls (extremely busy place) scheduling an appointment (within days), checking in, my visit with Dr. Thomas and checking out. Great staff! I can see where some people may mistake his confidence for arrogance, but I assure you that’s what it is. He is confident in his ability to see and do what needs to be done. That’s the kind of Dr. I want doing my surgery. I will leave another review after my surgery is completed.

Worst experience I've ever had with a medical professional. He didn't take the time to explain anything to me, wouldn't give me a straight answer to any question I asked and was talking to me like I was ignorant. He even took a phone call from his kid in the middle of my exam. I finally told him the discussion wasn't helpful and asked him to wrap up whatever he was doing on the laptop so I could check out and leave. He spent more time talking into the microphone connected to his laptop than he did examining me. Everyone else I interacted with in the office was super nice. I'm confident he is an exception in the office, but I just can't go back again after this experience.

Dr Thomas was one of the worst physicians I've seen in my life. Totally misdiagnosed me didn't even want to give me the time or day when I went in for my appointment. If I would have listened to him and got the injection that he so adamantly said was necessary I wouldn't be leaving a review right now. Wouldn't ever recommend him to anybody.

I was surprised to see this picture of Dr. Thomas smiling. I have never seen him smile at any of my visits. He gives little to no eye contact. Doesn’t seem to understand that I was sent to him because I’m in pain. Nothing worse than not feeling good and being treated disrespectfully.

This “doctor” is very arrogant. I was hoping to find out what was causing my issue, but He made me feel like I was overreacting to the pain I had been having. He actually said the people in the waiting room would be happy to get the 2 week reprieve I had, even though I had been in pain for over 5 months.

If I could rate lower, I would. This person would not make eye contact, interrupted me throughout the exam, which was very brief. Treated me for sciatica when it was bursitis. I had never felt so utterly disrespected by anyone, let alone a supposed medical professional. I can recall every condescending, belittling, word this man spoke to me.

Read the reviews, is Dr. Thomas civil + a "best neurosurgeon" only with patients who need surgery? In 2016,"You can MOVE your arms + feet + you're NOT in a wheelchair. You're fine, there's nothing wrong!!" Was his shockingly rude response to,"I can't move my head even a little bit is why I'm here + my neck was totally OK, with just no big deal mild arthritis in my neck before the injury happened. I went dancing + out for dinner a few nights before. It's all in the 2 MRI reports. By chance, an MRI for mild neck arthritis was done right before injury happened + an MRI was done after." Dr. Thomas stormed out the door, had no ideas or advice for what to do for an injured cervical (neck) spinal cord, so I could go back to being physically able to live my, was mostly wonderful life again. Like watching a bad movie. MD KNEW, UU me, read + compared the 2 MRI reports, had tears in his eyes. BTW=2 yrs medical treatment fixed it. :-)

I only saw dr. Thomas one time, for an evaluation, I thought, him, kind, patient, very knowledgeable about spine and back stuff, but, most of all he was the kind of doctor you would go back too, you can trust him implicitly...He knows his stuff....

Doctor Thomas assistant RN Alyssa is one of the best I ve had. She is diligent ,caring,but most of all she follows through with anything you need in a timely manner. Thank you!!
