I was referred to Dr. Gamble when a head scan revealed a tumor. Dr. Gamble explained everything to me clearly including my condition and the subsequent surgery. He was clear, concise and confident. The surgery went well and after 6 months, there was no trace of the benign tumor. I would highly recommend Dr. Gamble for his experience, skill, confidence and his great sense of humor!

I had extreme back pain. Went to Concord Ortho and was told I need immediate surgery to insert a rod and screws in my back. Went to Dr. Gamble who prescribed anti inflammatory meds and muscle relaxers and physical therapy. My back got progressively better, even with severe stenosis and three herniated disks, as Dr Gamble had said that the body has the ability to heal on its own. I am now walking up to 7 miles at a time! This Dr is not out to make money. He truly has patients quality of life as his number one concern!

I reside in northern Vermont and was experiencing severe back pain making it almost impossible for me to walk. I was referred to Dr. Gamble by my primary after he reviewed what spinal surgeons were available in New England and looked at patients’ comments and recommendations along with Dr. Gamble’s background and reputation. My I first introduction was in November of 2022 and I practically crawled into his office. Prior to my visit, I had a series of diagnostic tests so he could give me an idea of what options he could offer me. He explained that he could remove two disks and replace them with titanium disks. When my back completely heals, it should be as strong as it was twenty years ago. My thoughts “let’s do it, I want my life back.” I had surgery three months ago and now have minimal to no pain. I am walking and gaining the strength to resume some of my former activities. I’m expecting to be back to normal soon. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Gamble is so approachable, he’s friendly, answers all your questions regardless of what they are. He doesn’t have a big ego or act like you’re not worthy of his time. I couldn’t possibly ask for a better surgeon and I hope anyone needing his services won’t hesitate to call him - today!

I had been suffering with crippling pain for 8 months. I saw multiple doctors, had gone through physical therapy, injections with out any relief. Then I met Dr. Gamble. He listens to his patients. He explains everything in detail and makes sure you fully understand everything before surgery and at your post-op. I can't say enough about how happy I had Dr. Gamble as my surgeon. He gave me my life back. I would recommend him to anyone with back issues. He's professional, personable and confident.

Dr Gamble basically saved my life! He noticed that I wasn’t walking properly and he inserted a shunt to help drain the liquid from my brain. Have been pain free since then and also cognitive of my surroundings. I am now eager to rejoin my life with gusto. With the help of physical therapy I am walking again with a walker.

I had been experiencing severe scapular and arm pain for months. Dr. Gamble did extensive testing to see exactly which cervical nerves were causing the pain. When he was sure of the location of the problem, he explained in detail what would be involved in fixing it, recommending surgery at the C7-T1 level to free up the cervical nerves. He listened to all of my concerns, explained my images, answered all of my questions, and made me feel like I was his only patient. His medical staff and office were superb as well. The surgery was painless, and the irritated nerves healed well, just as he explained would happen. Within two months I was back to my normal routine, able to do all of my normal exercises and travel. He made my life possible again. I'm thrilled! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Gamble to any of my family and friends. He is a very capable, skilled, and caring physician, and a fun, entertaining person to talk with as well. I can't recommend him highly enough!!

This is the second time I needed to have surgery. Dr.Gamble is the best, explained the procedure, which I basically knew what to expect since he was doing the same surgery but this time it was different discs that needed to be adressed! His is first rate and would not hesitate to return if other disks give ne issues or recommend him to others with problems they may have with their necks, back, nerves etc!

I experienced no severe pain whatsoever following my spinal surgery by Dr. Gamble. There was some mild discomfort for two or three days but no severe pain. Furthermore, the severe back and leg pain that I had experienced for a few months before the surgery was instantly gone. These seem like miracles to me.

Every step of the process, Dr. Gamble was extremely professional, all while also being very down to earth. This made it really easy to ask a lot of questions, and in return get well explained responses. I walked out of surgery (L5-S1 herniated disc) feeling way better than I had in months. I hope I never have to need his services again, but if I do, I know I'm in good hands!
