I had an appointment yesterday for an injury and the entire staff was so pleasant and accommodating. I received the most exceptional service I’ve ever experienced at a doctor’s office. Not since Ken Thomas has retired have I witnessed this at a medical facility. They really care and went so far out of their way to accommodate my schedule and specific needs. I can’t say enough about the quality of care and professionalism. Thank you
It was a pleasure...The time and attention he gave me to try and figure out my medical issue was exceptional.
As usual, Dr. Vailas was very professional and thorough when examining my knee. He was very positive and reassuring that my knee wold be in good hands. I have been seeing him for a number of years and he is the best!
Absolutely terrible bedside manner in this day and age. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire appointment. He stood uncomfortably close in my personal space as I was sitting in a chair with him standing above me, he repeatedly touched me outside of the pretense of the physical examination, and he called me belittling pet names like “honey” and “sweetie”. When asked what physical activity I do, I explained my workout regime, to which he commented “I can tell” and reached out to squeeze my mid thigh. He seemed to know what he was talking about, although he completely dismissed my mention of hypermobility despite the fact that I have been professionally diagnosed and it very much relates to orthopedic care. Overall, it was extremely unprofessional, borderline creepy behavior from a grown adult man being directed at a young woman.
I've been a patient of Dr. Vailas for over 30 yrs. He's one of the best. He's thorough, personable and attentive to your symptoms. Dr. Vailas takes enough time to listen and explain what' happening. Throughout the years my knees have needed 3 surgeries and the recovery has been awesome. Thanks so much for your continued expertise, kindness and reassuring smile! Hannah
It was exactly what I needed! Thank you !! You are the best. Liz Overholt
Dr. Vailas was great. So personarle and really took the time to listen to me explain my symptoms. He was very reassuring and accommodating. Very happy that he was the MD I had the visit with.
Ok visit. But I have been asking for an MRI on my knees for 3 months. And for over a year now really. I wanted an MRI, not an xray. And in the time it took to wait while my PCP was being contacted, the MRI could have been done. I think I need it, and if I am wrong ok I will admit it. But instead of the xray and sitting waiting, the MRI i have been begging for should have been done instead.
I have been a patient of Dr Vailas for a long time. His bedside personality is great. I was recommended by a friend and I would easily recommend him to any one. I look forward to my appointments as we have a great relationship.
I met Dr. Vailas at the Bedford office 3 days afters a biking accident. He was friendly, professional and highly competent in discussing what had happened to my left shoulder and how to manage it going forward.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
