List of Robert Heaps's Reviews
I would say I am so lucky to have Dr. Heaps as my hand surgeon. He is extremely patient and explains everything in great detail with options with the pro and cons. A true professional which can be hard to find these days. I am 12 days post-surgery and I am already feeling better. Thank you.
My daughter was distraught going in to get her fractured arm looked at, but Dr Heaps made her feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. He explained our options clearly and concisely. His compassion for the patient was obvious and ensured that my daughter left the clinic with a smile. Everyone at the practice was wonderful with her too. We are grateful that an unpleasant experience turned into an easy office visit. I highly recommend coming here.
Very knowledgeable, personable, and took the time needed to listen to me and my concerns before explaining his diagnosis. I trust his judgment.
Dr. Heaps excelled in his explanation of my future hand surgery - better pre-surgery explanations than any doctor I've been to in years. He showed me computer graphics of the physiology of my hand and explained in detail how the substructures worked and how his surgery would be done. He answered all of my and my wife's questions in detail. I felt I was talking with a doctor who feels a truly fiduciary-like-responsibility for my best outcome of his surgery.
Great bedside manner, explains everything in a way that's easy to understand and gives you options so you can make the best choice for yourself and your health.
Found exactly what the problem was and gave me choices on what was to be done
After a long wait to get an appointment and then waited in the lobby for almost an hour and another half hour in the office, the 5 minutes of time with him was the real waste of time. He asked me a few questions, was short with me (not liking how I was explaining), and then asked me what I expected from him asking if I wanted a shot or therapy. No explanation and as I asked questions he told me that he is a surgeon and made it seem I was wasting his time. I think he could be capable of being helpful but seems like he has no interest in that. He’s a surgeon and made that clear. My wrist is still in pain and I’m trying to find a doctor to HELP me.
Very professional, good listener and very pleasant to speak with him. Highly recommended for arm and wrist issues.
Dr Heaps went over all the options and the probility of success in terms I could easily understand. It was a good experience
Dr. Heaps listened to my issue. He explained what was happening and what options I had to fix my issue. He answers questions and makes eye contact. He is a wonderful doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
