Dr Elgert literally saved my life more than ten years ago! I will not go anywhere else. He actually listens to me when I talk to him about anything that is extremely rare when most Drs offices book two appointments every fifteen minutes! Dr Elgert is the BEST! My sister also now goes to him 😃😃

I'm sorry to say that back when I was pregnant back in 1989 90. This doctor owed ME $200.00, THAT I NEVER got back! On top of that he belittled me and made me feel so bad for gaining extra weight. I just have to say he couldn't perform a c-section on me and I could have had severe reprocussions from having a shoulder surgeon perform it. Did YOU know he put me back together the wrong way which made me ill for many years. UWhy did you do this to a 19 year old woman! I have had problems for many years and thank god I was able to have another chid why? The shoulder surgeon told me I may not be able to have another child or support one. I had just been hit by a car on my ten speed not 6 months earlier which hurt me and we still didn't find just what that it did to me. I was really hurt and then to get pregnant didn't help my situations. Well 7 years later I did have one and he performed a section and was so beyond belief when he had to take everything out of me again just to put me bacj together the rught way! I am blessed to have: HAd another child and get put back together the right way. So, in regards to this I really hope things are different for all of you now in your facility. Because this was the most devistating emotional actions that happened that made a lifetime effect on me and ny family.

Virtually impossible to get a doctors appointment without the receptionist trying to self diagnose you regarding your personal health. Asking individuals to be specific on human anatomy is a job for the Doctor hence the request to see one and a generalized overview of the issue. Failing to make an appointment because an individual is unable to answer your line of personally interrogating questions even after a description of the problem was provided is alarming. I would advice anyone sourcing a compassionate practice that is staffed by empathetic human beings to look elsewhere as this practice and their staff has none.

When my doctor of 30 years retired, I was concerned trying to find a new doctor. Elliot Hospital recommended Dr. Elgert, and I have been very happy with his attentiveness and knowledge. Since I take a lot of meds, he has been careful and knowledgeable prescribing and regulating them. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Elgert and his staff. He is a good choice, for sure!

Dr. Stephen Elgert is by far the most passionate caring doctor I have ever had the chance to have as my PC! I have multiple family members that also see Dr. Elgert and we all agree he is outstanding. Truly appreciate his way of practicing medicine!

Was appointed to nurse. Didn't ask about any medications I was on- so she ordered a blood test which she apparently Un-bundled to cost me double. I was then told I needed a urine screening???? and HEP-C?! When I have no history of any kinds of exposure. A week later this liver spotted old shmuck finally asked me what medications I was on and suggested that one of them was causing my symptoms and simply to stop. WOW THAT WORKED. GREAT JOB.
