He listens, explains diagnoses & treatments. His bedside manner is gentle, considerate. & compassionate. I believe he really cares about his patients. I know he focuses on my issues. More importantly, he is up to date on rheumatic diseases, medications, & other treatments. He was recommended to me 20 years ago because his patients trust him & feel a connection with him. In other words, he is a blessing to me.

Dr. Shirley is always attentive to my concerns, is very thorough & always explains his findings & reasons for suggested treatments. He is an extremely pleasant & highly capable physician, & makes me feel comfortable asking him questions or for clarification. A true gem & a rare find! In addition, his office staff & entire Concord Orthopedic practice are always helpful, pleasant, & highly professional as well.

Dr Shirley is one of the best Drs I've ever been to. He actually listens to your concerns and makes a plan with you instead of for you. He not only cares about your health but also cares about your personal life and things that are good and bad. I hope he never retires because I don't think I'll ever find another Dr as good as he is.
