I saw Dr Szal due to concern for my eye as a result of the shingles virus. He was very thorough and explained a lot about the virus and how it was affecting my facial area. He answered all of my questions and really relieved my worry.

Dr Szar has always answered all of my concerns. I sincerely appreciated the phone call the evening of my eye surgery. Follow up appointments are always scheduled in advance and can be changer by the patient. Busy office but very timely.

Extremely pleased with this ophthalmologist. Friendly, professional and competent staff member performs initial exam to be ready for appointment with Dr. Szal. I like the efficiency! Dr. Szal is equally as efficient with his portion of the exam yet he has always taken the time to share and explain all findings as well as make helpful suggestions for greater eye comfort. He's a keeper!

I actually never got to see this Doctor, as I overheard him berate another patient in the next room, and after 35 minutes of waiting with nothing, I simply walked out. Concord Eye Care (and Dr. Szal), is indifferent of their poor patient care.

The man never introduced himself, was quick in and out with a refusal to answer questions. The girl with the clipboard left in his wake was of more use. It was a bit much even for a assembly line clinic, I am not sure about his credentials but he fails as a a human being.

Could not perceive of a finer, more caring, more capable physician than Dr. Szal. Having family on ophthalmology staff at Wills Eye and Jeff Med, I take a hard look, and Dr. Szal is truly an excellent doctor. There was only one review before mine, and it appeared as if the individual forgot to click the higher stars, as the text of the review reflected a superb experience, but the lowest star was clicked. clearly a mistake on the reviewer part. Perhaps the "Vitals" service can fix.
