It was nice to meet you yesterday. My injection site was quite sore last night. But I iced it down and it helped it a lot. I had a rough night trying to get comfortable, and got up a couple of times and put ice on it. But it is much better today and I have only put ice on it and couple of times. I'm hoping for some relief from my hip pain from the injection in the long run. Thank you Mr Jim Flanders

Doctor Burns showed serious concern in my behalf and explained the needs, perimeters, and various care procedures, I can have. Doctor was helpful to recommend surgery by having x-rays to show the damage. He took the time to clearly explain the procedure of operation. Doctor Burns is a very caring and thorough and spends the necessary time in explaining the reason of his decision.

Was sent to Concord Orthopedic by my primary doctor to help with terrible pain and numbness in my right hip. Dr. Burn s went over the X-rays with me and provided me with two options of treatment. One day after the injection in my hip I have about 75% relief of the pain and the numbness is all but gone. I can’t say enough of the professionalism of Dr. Burns and I highly recommend him to everyone.

I am a active 50yr young man that had a ski accident resulting in a pretty bad tibia plateau fracture and damaged knee. From the beginning visit to Concord Orthopedic trauma the day of my accident, consultation with Dr. Burns, 2 surgeries and appointments after, my experience has been very positive, professional and encouraging! Dr. Burns put forth all options after discussing what was going on in my leg and answered any questions I had AND answered again in way I could understand if I didn't. He showed me images, sketches and spent all the time I needed to ask away. He made me feel like I was a top tier athlete understanding how badly I wanted to get back out there. A month after the first surgery, x-rays revealed a less than perfect alignment (just the way I healed) and he offered his honest medical and personal opinions on leaving it, which would have been fine or if I chose to go forward, getting it perfect. I liked his enthusiasm and opted for perfect. Crazy, but I'm actually going to miss going there and hope he is still there if I need his services again someday. I always felt like I was talking to a friend. A friend with really great skills!

Doctor Burns followed up with me at the one year mark after my knee replacement. He truly cares about how I feel and how I am doing after having had my knees replaced.

Fixed a femur/hip fracture using rods and pins. The surgery was quick and recovery went exactly as expected. Three months later it’s completely healed and stronger than before. Some loss of flexibility that will just take time. He made what seemed like a devastating injury a pretty routine fix. I went home the next day

I had heard of Dr. Burns 6 years ago and sought consultation regarding an issue with my knee. I have recently used him as a surgeon to complete a full knee replacement. The surgery was more complicated than initially expected. I am now pain free and able to function at a level that I haven't been at for many years. Between Dr. Burns and PT, i am now almost back to normal, less than 6 weeks post op. If I ever require further surgery, I would hope he was available.

My husband sees dr. Burns - he receives cortisone injection. Dr. Burns is an excellent Doctor. he takes time to explain his diagnosis and treatment options.
