Eileen Paticia Kirk's Online Review Report Card

Was having period chronically for about 3 mos. Turned out to be down to fibroids, one of which was huge and took up my uterus. Got referred to her. First visit was very rushed. She ordered a CBC and CMP; Hemoglobin was fine. Some other things were out of whack but had been for awhile. Had Dr. Kirk checked my medical history, she would see why some levels were high/low, and she'd have realized that the fibroid was too big to remove. So a D&C was scheduled, and I had it done...not. Fibroid was too big. She also shoved a progesterone IUD into my uterus and was worried it wouldn't hold. Duh, it didn't. Post surgery appt was rushed and she was hyperfocused on my BMI. I was fat shamed, essentially. I brought up items in my medical history and she didn't know what I was talking about. I left and vowed not to return; found a new DO who prescribed me oral depo provera. Work like a charm. So I had a completely unnecessary surgery and treated like an overweight idiot.

Dr Kirk is very knowledgeable and thorough. She has no problem listening to my questions and taking the time to answer them. On the patient portal, she promptly answers questions. I need to have surgery and she has no problem working with other doctors in the practice to determine the correct procedures. She is down-to-earth and takes things seriously. I respect her for her willingness to share that she needs to ask questions and/or consult with other doctors before giving me answers and determining the best course of action. As with all medical visits, bringing a list of questions is very helpful.

Dr Kirk put me at ease right away, she has a caring manner about her. I highly would recommend Dr Kirk.

I scheduled an annual exam with Dr. Kirk. She admitted to quickly skimming my medical history while she walking into my appointment and then told me she did not think she could do any more for me than any other doctor except maybe one clinic. She did look them up online and printed the information that I could have googled in less time, but that was the extent of my visit. She proceeded to dismiss me without even asking about my current symptoms or performing the exam that I had scheduled. This was after I drove an hour to see her because she was recommended by a friend and I did not want to see another doctor who would not take the time to hear my concerns. I was called in late and cannot help but wonder if this was a result of them trying to rush me along so they could get to the rest of their patients.

She didn't listen to me and I almost died from eclampsia and my baby was born premature and died

Dr. Kirk is very down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

She is so kind. I have been going to her for years. She is knowledgeable and to the point. She has my personal well-being in mind at all times!
