A good visit with Dr. Usher. He is easy to talk with, explained things well, and I felt he was listening to me. Highly Recommended
He has been the best one ive seen and the only one i like to treat my ms
I had my first visit with Dr. Usher and I am very impressed, it’s been 2&1/2 years since I had a stroke and I feel like I’m in the hands of the right neurologist finally, he is very thorough and made me feel he actually wants to help me! My husband was with me and he also felt the same way, I have a very positive feeling leaving there today, I’m happy he was recommended to me. I hope I continue feeling this way moving forward.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Usher regarding a health issue concerning my dad. Dr. Usher was very thorough with his examination and questioning. He provided valuable information and was happy to answer any questions. After having met many doctors over the past few years, I can easily say that Dr. Usher stands out from the rest.
Perhaps my condition is not one that he has particular interest in. Others have written good reviews - so perhaps their issues are more in line with his professional interests. I felt like the expensive tests were more to profit the doctors and hospital.....then to help me. When I called to ask about the results the staff said there was no need for follow up unless the tests were abnormal - well I went in diagnosed with neurological problems and brain damage. So thousands of $$$ in tests recommended but so little interest in following up with me. I guess the point was to bill my insurance for expensive tests - All in all I felt invisible, unimportant. I did feel like my great insurance was most welcome. The hospital Wentworth Douglas is not one I would recommend for so many reasons. Their staff in Physical Therapy and now this neurology associate - so many bad experiences.
he doesnt send percription mto my drug store when i having sevre headache thats making me sick to my stomache
Extremely enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Usher and his staff. Even tho i only go there once a year, i am always welcomed.
I started going to this office at least 10 years ago when Dr. Stone was there. He was wonderful but moved away. Every year when I went for a check-up ...
My First impression of Dr Usher is that he is very knowlageable, and understanding. HOWEVER, as we tried different medications and I had some reactions to them I found his caring to be superficial. In fact when I called his office to tel them I was having a reaction to a med, I got a call back the FOLLOWING DAY, saying Dr, Usher was not going to make any changes in my meds untill my next visit with him "WHICH HE HAD CANCELLED for personal reasons" the next aviable appointment was over 6 months away. A few weeks later I learned that a friend got into see Dr Usher, for her 1st appointment in just under two weeks time..... her follow up appintments were also with in the 6 months I was told he had no openings! So what good is a MD ( as knowledgeable as he is) if you can't get into see him ,esp. when it involves side affects and reactions to Med, HE PRESCRIBED!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
