NOT IMPRESSED! My Mom has been in and out of Hospital last 4 weeks with antibiotic resistant infections, that stemmed from Bladder Botox gone wrong! Almost a year of self catheter, septic, Stents etc … BEWARE
He's an awesome GYN, so down to earth and easy to talk to
Excellent!! He is one of the most smart and compassionate doctors you will ever meet! I am lucky to have him has my gynecologist!
Dr.Segil hands down best doctor ever. Literally saved my life once. Always listens ,truly caring .
I switched my care from my PCP to Dr. Segil a few years ago, and I'm so glad I did. He is a very busy guy, but he listens closely and answers all my questions with clarity and compassion. Dr. Segil follows me for some fairly uncommon conditions, and I'm confident I'm getting the best care possible. I highly recommend Dr. Segil and Dover Women's Health!
Maybe he was having an "off" day, but my experience with Dr. Segil was negative. He seemed hurried through the appointment. He mansplained basic medical facts to me even though I didn't ask for an explanation and already knew all the information. He spoke to me like I was a toddler, even though I am an intelligent, educated woman. He repeated everything over and over. I felt like a little kid being chastised by my dad. It felt incredibly sexist, which seems ironic as he is an OBGYN and sees women patients. I hope all his other patients aren't treated the same way I was. All patients should be treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
There is a lot of turnover of physicians in this office and inconsistency with staff. They are very disorganized and lack of interoffice communication makes scheduling difficult. Temporary doctor lacks experience, causing a lack of trust. I've had unnecessary visits because of rare complications that occurred following procedures.
I've encounter dozens of doctors and medical professionals for myself and for my medically fragile daughter. Never have I experienced a doctor who has been so dismissive and condescending. I'm an intelligent, educated woman, and yet he spoke to me like he was scolding a five year old. He rushed the visit, scolded me for something out of my control, mansplained basic facts to me that I already knew and didn't ask for an explanation about. He came across as aggressive, impatient, mistrusting and rude.
I've never encountered a doctor that mansplained to me as badly as Dr. Segil. He spoke to me about my mental health like I was a five year old, after just meeting me. I'm highly educated and appreciat being treated with respect. I couldn't believe how pushy, aggressive and rude this doctor was.
Botched a simple hysterectomy. 95 days of a catheter. Wearing skirts. Out thousands of dollars. co-pays between jobs. doctors are untouchable if another dr can “ fix” you. I drive around with a female urinal. Worst doctor ever. Kept diagnosing as UTI DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
