List of William S. Danford's Reviews
This physician deals in straight talk in a manner that is understandable to the average person. I also found him to be attentive and compassionate.
I have been with Dr. Danford for 18 years. He is a top notch Cardiologist in the field. He makes sure you are getting the best care and treatment possible. He listens when you talk and has your best interests in his mind. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs expert care in a heart healthy lifestyle.
I went in for an annual cardiologist checkup. Not presenting any symptoms, just a wellness visit. Dr Danford went through the numbers with me. Blood pressure is a little high. Let's change up the meds, other than that, things are good. By the way it's been a while since we have done a stress test, he said. We scheduled it, based on his recommendation and as we both expected, everything was fine. I got his bill for the visit. Then I got a bill for $3815.00 for the stress test, which is not considered a wellness diagnostic, so insurance does not cover any of the cost. Thankfully my insurance company at least negotiated it down to $2500.00, but Dr. Danford ought to warn people that the nice-to-have test is going to cost them thousands of dollars out of pocket. If I had known that going in, I would certainly not have taken this insanely expensive, and completely unnecessary test. If he suggests anything at all for you, make sure you get the cost in writing before you schedule.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
