List of Albert C. Northcutt's Reviews
Dr. Northcutt has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is a very intelligent, caring, and attentive person. If I move, I'll take the trip to keep him as my primary. A+
Dr. Northcutt is an outstanding doctor. He takes time to discuss any concerns you may have. I came with a list and he addressed all of them. He is a great listener, and is a genuinely compassionate person. I feel that I have visited other physicians, you are rushed in and out, not the case for Dr. Northcutt. Great demeanor and educated me a lot about my concerns.
He was one of the best doctors I’ve ever met in my 40 years journey with Fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue. He is CODA. That helps cut down the middle person, an ASL interpreter. Makes an appt easier. He is most knowledgeable and kind and nonjudgmental. My kind of people! Especially for a doctor. I moved to western Massachusetts 4 years ago. Now I regret leaving NH; cuz finding another dr like him is ...
Worst office I've ever dealt with called over and over for med refills for my dad and still blood pressure and other meds never filled after a week of calling completely unprofessional and I have submitted a complaint to NH.
I have been going to LFP for 30yrs or more. I would not recommend Dr. Northcut to anyone. He cut out the ingrown fingernail without any local and after it was over he said. Quote," My mother told me never to hurt an old lady." He did not apply any sterile medicated topping or bandage. Three weeks later I have a visit with a Dermatologist to clean up the mess he made. That was the first time I met that Dr. and will never recommend him to anyone. Other than that I give LFP a five star rating.
I am a new patient of Dr. Northcutt's. My previous physician retired. I was concerned and nervous about chosing a new physician. My experience has been outstanding. Dr. Northcutt is extremely personable and asks the extra questions to try to help. He made me feel like my concerns were very important and did not rush me through the process. He seems very knowledgeable and I am very pleased that I chose his practice.
Best family physician ever . 2 stars below 100 % not warranted. I have had 6 different family physician in my adulthood and he is by far the best!
Although Dr. Northcutt spends a lot of time with his patients, he needs to remember that, at the same time, he has patients waiting for him in the waiting room. Each and every time I've had an appointment with him, I have needed to waiting about an hour to see him. This simply isn't fair. I can understand the need to wait 10-15 minutes, but when the waiting time is consistently an hour, you have a problem that needs to be addressed.
good
Dr. ALbert Northcutt is the biggest Jackass there is. For the last 3 years my husband has had high levels of Hemocrit and Hemocrat levels in his CBC lab work, nothing of Dr. Northcutt's s concern. My husband had A-Rib last year, and then a stroke this year. My husband has always been pretty healthy. I got so fed up with all the prescription drugs Dr. Northcutt kept prescribing to my husband and not figuring out what was really wrong with my husband, so I reached out to a holistic doctor, Dr. Bier in Portsmouth, NH. Within 1 hour of our office visit with him, he looked at my husband's CBC lab work and figured out that my husband had high iron (ferritin levels) which could be high iron, or Hemocromatosis. If you have high iron in your body and it doesn't get treated by giving phlebotomies to get rid of the iron, it will eventually attack your organs and you will die. Dr. Bier sent my husband for further lab testing, and bingo, he had a ferritin level of 1,500, the average person's ferritin level is 50. I was extremely shocked and angry! So, people, don't count on your doctors to further investigate high or low levels in your lab work. Be your own advocate. Because they are only about prescribing PILLS, not getting to the root of people's health problems. The staff there is overworked and rude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
