List of Andrea Galasso's Reviews
I really like Dr. Galasso, she listened during our first appointment and helped me understand some directions to take with a thyroid issue. The office staff is completely different and that is what this review is about. They treated me like I shouldn't have dropped off a form for employment to their office and I was so insulted I left without asking about follow up. I called to confirm if I should follow up on the form or would they call me. I was told they would call me and when they never did I stopped by and the office staff lost it. Customer Service training should be reviewed.
She’s pretty bad. Rushes you thru the visit and doesn’t leave a message about test results. Messages I left about this on the patient portal and by phone were ignored. Look elsewhere.
My experience was impressive. Dr. Galasso was very thorough in my exam. She was a good listener and was genuinely interested in my health issues. She spent time with me and did not rush my appointment. I am very happy that she agreed to be my new primary care physician.
Dr. Galasso has been caring for my elderly father for the past two years. She has always been thorough, patient, and caring. I have been so impressed with the care he has received that I have left a practice after 30 plus years. My husband recently followed me as well. I find Dr Galasso easy to talk to and she does not rush through the visit. I have a nursing background so I feel it is important and I appreciate the time spent reviewing and discussing my health. I would definitely recommend Dr Galasso to family and friends.
Dr Gallasso is the worst dr I have ever seen. If you have Amerihealth don’t even bother - you will not get the attention you deserve. She doesn’t refill medications timely so you are always running out and the staff is not knowledgeable or updated on new RX’s or practices. Dr Gallasso herself is questionable in her knowledge as I had to explain to her why I still need certain tests. Thankfully I come from working in a physician’s office.
I found her to be very attentive and professional, going through my total medical history. She is very easy to talk to,thorough and is very compassionate.
Dr Galasso is professional, attentive and accessible.
I think this office can be unprofessional at times. Dr. Galasso has been taking care of my elderly mother for a few years and I have questioned her many times as to the treatment given to my mom. This office does not due it due diligence with reviewing files. My mom went in for a UTI and was giving an antibiotic. A few days later she wasn't feeling well with different symptoms and the office re-prescribed another antibiotic, without even seeing her in their office. Monitor family care here!
She is not good. I had a rash on my abdomen and she prescribed a steroid and it did not clear up and then she ordered it to be refilled. When I went in, another dr. saw me and said it was getting worse because the steroid was to be used for only 10 days and should never have been refilled. It was thinning the skin. My annual exam was a farce. She asked if I was taking Statins...I have never taken them and she was looking at the computer screen the whole time. Very poor dr.
I have been bringing my seriously disabled elderly parent to many doctors. Now Dr.Galasso is the primary care. We really like her: she is attentive, really listens to our story; she is helpful in helping us access the care we need. The waits have not been more than 15 minutes, and our phone calls are always returned. I find her to be one of the most pleasant and attentive doctors I have visited for myself or my elderly parent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
