List of John F. Welter's Reviews
All the appointments with Dr Welter were rushed and he did not seems to understand what the problem I had was. Once he figure it out, he realized injections would not work for me. But, he chose to not tell me. It was my PCP who pointed it out to me. His nurse then kept encouraging me to get trigger point injections after giving me a bunch of PT exercise that would only make the pain worse. Don't waste you time on a doctor that you cannot trust.
Awesome staff, this is the only doctor that has been helpful in healing my knee
I highly recommend Dr. Welter. I'm a photojournalist. Covering presidential hopefuls is grueling. Carrying heavy gear. Rushing from event to event. Long periods of standing, crouching and or on ladders. Back hip shoulder leg pain and muscle spasms. Freelance if I lose a day I lose pay and possibly a client. Dr Welter has always been able to manage my pain and keep me working. Worth his weight in gold!
If I could give him 10 ⭐️‘s I would. This is the second time I have gone to visit him once two years ago for an IT band issue and I left there feeling fantastic. This is the second time I had chronic knee pain and once again he is my miracle doctor my knee is on its way to recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Welter. Very personable in the staff is fantastic also.
Dr Welter proved to be a very incompetent and arrogant doctor which I do not recommend to anybody. I have severe chronic neck pain, diagnosed with osteoarthritis. For my first visit I was given some muscle injections for my neck and was told to keep a journal which I did. if the first round of shots did not prove satisfactory, then another series of shots would be done was mentioned by Dr. Welter. I went for the next follow-up appointment which was in one month. When I returned I showed him my journal which stated on my timeline that I was still having some neck pain, he copped an attitude On my first visit I was told by his assistant that was told that this sometimes does not work the first time around . However Dr Welter took it on upon himself to tell me that I was discharged and there was nothing else he could do for me. He told me I could go back to work and stated this in his medical notes which I reviewed on the patient portal. His reasons were not clear and he had a very bad attitude this day. As far as I'm concerned, if anybody is looking to get help with pain isdues. stay away from this doctor. It seems obvious he didn't pay attention in class when he was going to school. No bedside manners at all!!!!
Dr. Welter spent a lot of time going over my X-Rays and explains the results. He answered all my questions and was very thorough when examining me. I have a lot of confidence in his knowledge and expertise.
Dr Welter gave my father-in-law his mobility back. Great bedside manner, kind, and a good memory for his patients. Dr Welter properly diagnosed his condition when others had failed to do so for years. Very caring Dr and so glad we found him. My father-in-law has been his patient for about 5 years not. Very satisfied.
Waited 45 mins past my appointment time and he never apologized. I get that patients can make a doctor be late for another appointment but at least apologize to that patient when you see them. I was referred to him by the first doctor I saw. Dr. Welter told me I absolutely did not have Carpal Tunnel but thought it might be tennis elbow and through on a Velcro strap onto my forearm and said see you in 2 weeks. I was in extreme pain at the time and left his office in tears not knowing where to turn too at that point. Fortunately, I was put in touch with another doctor that confirmed that I indeed did have Carpal Tunnel and a severe case at that. I had Carpal Tunnel surgery last week. Don't waste your breath, time or your money seeing Dr. John Welter if you think you may have Carpal Tunnel. Obviously he doesn't have a clue what Carpal Tunnel is.
I recently have been seeing Dr. Welter. He is an excellent doctor, he has a wonderful bedside manner. He diagnosed my problem and was able to take care of it within a few short visits. He takes his time and doesn’t rush you in and out. I would recommend him to anyone having muscle skeletal issues. He likes to make a joke to lighten the mood and puts a smile on his patients faces. His nurses and the staff are always in a good mood as well greeting you with a smile.
IVe suffered for 26 years withall of my ailments. Dr welter takes 40 minutes with all of my appointments, does not push pills on me but offers appropriate adjustment and injection care. I’ve been to dozens of drs over the years and is the best in every area. I love my visits, he makes me feel better physically and emotionally. What a great guy

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
