Saw Dr Marks years ago re pain in joints. He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia & said everything else was fine. Years later I call back to try & get an appointment as its severely worse & need treatment only to be met by rude front end staff. I honestly don't know if he even wants to work. Every question was met with a negative response by the operator. I'm a chronic pain patient been on disability since 2008, no stranger to office politics. good luck!
I wish I could give 1/2 star. I had a sinus infection and wasn't told until AFTER my 2nd set of antibiotics that I needed to STOP a medication he proscribes so the antibiotic will work. I had to do a 3rd round of antibiotics which turned into a chronic infection, a double eye infection, an outer ear infection, as well as another infection. I was told I was fine and to continue on with the care plan he has me on. It took my PHARMACIST of all people to ask me why I'm taking a medication he prescribed to be very concerned and take the medication back. I got a test done and found out the medication is what made things worse and kept the sinus infection from going away. When I'm told to call or email with any questions or concerns and told I'm fine, ignoring my questions and concerns only to find out a medication he provided me could cause me to have surgery on my face, I'm not pleased. I have discontinued care as I can't receive care from someone I can't trust.
Had him a number of years ago after dr. Lynch left .....he was good
He admitted my ANA levels weren’t right but refused to do further blood work, was very dismissive. He talked about lupus way too much when he admitted lupus doesn’t cause back pain, my main concern. He then diagnosed me with fibromyalgia but was so dismissive about it. He said I should be thankful it wasn’t something else, ignoring that fibromyalgia doesn’t have a cure and ruins peoples lives. He then gave me basically no treatment plan except exercise more and get a sleep study. I’m never going back, if you’re a young woman don’t go to him. I’m going to seek a second opinion, don’t go here.
He was very dismissive, refused to test anything to rule things out, was convinced I have fibromyalgia despite the symptoms not matching up. He gave me no treatment strategy for if I do have it. And he mentioned lupus way too many times when he admitted lupus doesn’t cause back and joint pain which is why I was there. Run far away do not go to him.
He listened to everything I said and understood what I was trying to say. Made me feel human. Didn't rush me. Answered all my questions using terms and words I actually understood.
Great experience with Dr. Marks! He properly diagnosed me after my first visit and gave me the proper antibiotics within a few days after labs and I have been feeling great since!
I was recommended Dr Marks by a friend. I have Ankylosing Spondalytis with fusion. Dr Marks is fantastic and has maintained a treatment that mitigates pain and progression of the disease. He and his office are patient and caring. I would recommend him and his staff if you are looking for rheumatoid care. I feel as though my care is pragmatically addressed and I am listed to.
Very disappointed after having waited to get this appointment for so long and having my doctor consult with Dr. Marks only to not be able to see him and NEVER be able to reschedule. I was in a car accident on the way to my appointment and arrived 12 minutes late because of it. Their policy is to cancel and never reschedule. No call. Nothing. If I had known I would not have driven over an hour only be to told to turn around and go home if I was going to be 12 minutes late for a one hour appointment. They could have called at least. I did try calling and got out on hold. By the time I arrived I was still on hold. Bad practice ethics of you ask me. Accidents happen. Literally.
First time seeing Dr. Marks. He and the staff were very friendly and professional. Exam was very thorough and he took the time to review my chart and explain everything. Wouldn't hesitate to go to him again or recommend him to others.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
