Dr. Shock was very knowledgable, through and care. As I’m a 1st time new patient, He spend time to review my case record asked questions and makes great suggestions. I sure feel that I am in good hands of care.
Dr. Shick barely listened to what I had to say. He didn't seem to believe that I had swallowed a pill wrong and that it was still stuck in my throat. He recommended doing an upper endoscopy but admitted on the day of the procedure that he really wasn't the best person to look in my throat and find the pill remnant. He did find a small ulcer and multiple polyps in my stomach but when my husband and I tried to get more information about these findings he was very curt in his answers and made it clear that he did not want to discuss my health care concerns any further. I had to suffer with the pill remnant in my throat for a little over 3 WEEKS! It was a total waste of time and money to see Dr. Shick. I now owe about $3000 for the endoscopy that did NOTHING to help me!! I would NOT recommend seeing him!
Takes the time to explain your situation.....problems, solutions, etc. Doesn't rush. Answers questions.
Dr Shick showed a grace and proficiency at an early age. Lawrence Hubert
Dr Shick called me about my results 6pm on a Saturday night. Cause he knew that I was anxious about the results. Above and beyond the call of duty. To the point and honest. Made sure I understood everything

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
