Almost a decade ago I stumbled into his office struggling with the inability to stay awake, pain, and infrequent weakness. He had me do a sleep study which showed I was tired but only napped 2/5 times without fast REM. He wrote in my chart notes I was probably having psychosis and feigning illness. I later became homeless without being able to keep a job and then lost health insurance to get answers ...

Very poor bedside manner.Instead of asking patient what they were capable of in terms of adl's, talked over patient, and put words in patients mouth, (necessitating patient correct him), in an apparent attempt to minimize need for continued hospitalization. Gave the impression that insurance was driving care not patient need. Would never choose him as a provider.

He's very easy to talk to and he explains simply what he thinks. Helped me through migraines and now a MS diagnosis. He's the best!

He is more interested in "taking charge" than he is in anything the patient might have to say regardless of the experience they have with their own illness
