I have been seeing Dr. Mary Merkel for about 15 years now. I make it a point to keep her as my primary care doctor. She provides amazing care and is so helpful to work with. The office in Merrimack also has a great team of nurses. I always feel safe and provided for when going to visit for my appointments. Also calling to talk with someone over the phone can be so helpful with any questions that come up.Would Definitely recommend to a friend and I have!

I so appreciate my Doctors attention to details. She gives me all the time I need! Makes me feel that she is listening and really cares how I am feeling. She has taken over my care when a doctor in Boston fail! She gave me new referral to other colleagues that have been just as caring and professional! I can only say that Dr. Mary Merkel has been there for myself, my family and most of my friends! ( I have referred everyone I know) she is very dear to all of us!!

Dr. Mary Merkel was my doctor for many years and she can be very nice. But unfortunately she misdiagnosed several of my health issues and when I brought it to her attention her attitude towards me became aggressive so I fired her! I would not recommend her!!

Dr Merkel is the most thorough, attentive, caring, and well rounded physician I have ever been to. She is worth any scheduling difficulties or office wait times. She is also, and not least important, a genuinely nice person.

I've been a patient of Dr.Merkel for a number of years now. DR.Merkel takes the time to listen and answer any questions. When I leave an appointment , If i have any unanswered questions or concerns it is becauase i forgot to bring them up. I can always go to the website too and communicate that way with a very reasonable response time. I wish I could give more than 5 star rating

After over 30 years with Matthew Thornton/Dartmouth Hitchcock I am leaving. You wait on hold for at least 10 minutes before even speaking to a human and when you ask to speak to your doctor because they change your prescription you never get a call back. I called several times and asked to speak with her. My husband has been saying to me for years he dislikes the quality of care I receive from Dr. Merkel. And now I finally agree with him.
