Denise Mchugh's Online Review Report Card

Worst experience of my sons birth 8 years ago. Hope Noone experiences this since or ever. Completely unable to relate to parents,unprofessional and I suspect racist. Won't recommend.

I’m not sure how anyone can have a bad experience with Dr McHugh. I had switched to Dr McHugh probably around 15 years ago because my last one left the practice. She is funny, gets to the point, and listens. If you ever have to wait, it’s because she is an on call dr. Anytime she has been on call, I am always made aware of it prior to me making the appt or I will get a phone call letting me know she is behind. I like her so much that my oldest daughter now sees her and that says a lot. If anyone has an issue with Dr McHugh, I would say it’s more on them and not her. If you need a dr who is informative, straight to the point and need her actual personal opinion, she is the one for you.

Awfull and extremely unprofessional.

Denise has been my OBGYN since I was a teenager. We have been through a lot together, birth, cervical cancer, breast cancer just to name a few. She is a fast talking sassy little New Yorker. She takes her work seriously, but is also quick to laugh with you, not afraid to be human. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, Denise called me out of the blue to see how I was and to let me know that she was there for me, even though she was not a part of my diagnosis or treatment team. She is a terrific MD, but she is also not afraid to let you know she is human with a big heart. I have and will continue to place my life in her hands when the occasion arises.

The most unprofessional and lazy provider.

I saw Dr McHugh when I had my children and she was great then. I recently saw again her for an abnormal Pap smear and she explained everything and did the testing very easily and painlessly. She saw me to discuss the results and made sure I had no other questions. I will never see anyone else again

Attempting to reach the office only to be met with an answering machine is VERY poor customer service. If I ran my practice that way I would certainly loose customers. Think about a receptionist full time to answer the phone.

I cannot thank Dr. McHough enough. She cared for me during a horrible time. I had a miscarriage at 3 months and she told me this news after an ultrasound and performed the surgery. She was so attentive in all of her care for me. Her bedside manner was so kind and compassionate. I will absolutely be continuing my care with Dr. McHugh.

I was referred to Dr. MCHugh through my PCP after receiving an abnormal pap in September. I had 3 separate procedures spanning over 3 months which ended in a LEEP in January. All I can say is that the whole experience from beginning to end was nothing short of terrifying. This doctor has extremely poor bedside manner and her nurse isn't any better. Nothing was explained in detail and you are made to feel like you're a nuisance. The wait times are deplorable, I missed so much unnecessary time at work due to being required to drive to the office just to get my results. The appt. should only take 5 mins, yet I sat there one day for 45 mins until I was finally seen. And then you are CHARGED for that visit. I could go on about my TRAUMATIC LEEP experience that was first attempted in office, but I'll refrain and just say please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! I just moved to a wonderful office in Manchester and they were friendly, supportive, thorough and extremely punctual. All I can say is, it was night and day.

Dr. Denise McHugh is wonderful. She has resolved several problems concerning my overall health over the past ten years, and gives me peace of mind. She listens carefully and addresses all questions and concerns. She is knowledgeable and has years of experience.
