i was seen by this person for an unfortunate ankle injury while snowboarding. it was a higher speed/torque/force injury. upon x-rays and three hrs later, she had asked me if i ever had a sprained ankle before. i said i had not. she said that i do now. this was the diagnosis upon her review of x-ray and also hearing how my ankle was injured. no follow up imaging, etc. RICE method for a month and if not better, see a specialist. the ER moves humans like cattle along, and out the door. over five months later i am still dealing with this injury and it turns out to be a fairly serious and life altering injury regarding the talus, which is the main bone in your foot. this type of injury is referred to "snowboarders ankle". ironic? i think not. lateral talar process fracture to be specific. my injury turns out to be a partially displaced fracture of 2.8mm and urged for a CT scan immediately. this should've been ordered right away and you're probably thinking sure, "should've could've, etc., but this is common practice for the information that was given to rule out anything more serious than a sprained ankle. i am not necessarily an amateur snowboarder and this was obviously a serious sprain, if that's all it appears to be. a CT scan was ordered by my specialist four months (four, yes) after the injury since recovery symptoms were getting worse. from what i find, surgery is likely necessary and time sensitive due to being displaced greater than 2mm, if this was seen by professionals. upon the CT results/findings, my specialist tells me he doesn't do surgery for this type of injury and refers me elsewhere. this may be why it was mentioned that the bone was too small for surgery to address the 2.8mm displaced bone. that was Davis, not Karagosian ("kevorkian"), just to be clear. both of these "care" people should find something else to do because they're certainly not helping others and in fact they're doing the complete opposite. it's a job to them, not a profession and they're just going through the motions to punch a clock. simple description, but it's a fairly accurate interpretation of the services you may expect to receive. i've had other doctor opinions confirm that another approach should have probably been taken at earlier stages of the injury. recovery still TBD. one star "provider" rating is too much for this one. this is a PSA. good luck out there!
Ignored me for over 3 hours. Discharged me from the emergency department after a minimal examination, while I was still symptomatic and in an unexplained hypertensive crisis.

I was stunned to see the previous reviews posted here. I am thankful to have been so fortunate as to be treated, in a medical emergency, by Dr. Karagosian. She was attentive, thorough, and aggressive in getting to the source of the problem and providing proper treatment.
In an emergency medical situation, I had the good fortune to be treated by Dr. Karagosian. She was attentive, thorough and focused on getting to the root of the problem and providing proper treatment.
My experience with Dr. Karagosian was entirely positive. In an emergency medical situation, she gave me excellent care and was thorough, attentive and focused on finding the source of the problem and the proper treatment. While I was in the emergency room, she took the time to contact a specialist to discuss the situation. She provided treatment right there, prescribed a course of medication, and scheduled an appointment for further testing the next day.
whatever education this woman got to be a doctor seems to only be reflected in her pretentious way of speaking rather than her ability (lack of) to diagnose and treat her patients.
A good doctor is simultaneously learned, honest, kind, humble, enthusiastic, optimistic, and efficient. This woman is none of the above. Of all the clinicians I’ve ever had to deal with, this woman was far and away the worst. And I am not so much concerned with her personality as I am with the fact that I showed up 14 weeks pregnant with excruciating pain on my right side. It was 10/10. I was told I’d be getting an ultrasound because the nurses were sure it was my gallbladder. I waited in the room for over 30 mins in pain I just could not handle. I finally called the nurse to find out if they were gonna check because I was scared for my life. This Dr. came in, asked a few questions and said that she wasn’t sure what was happening but ultrasound was closed so to follow up with my PCP. I said well what if this is serious. It’s excruciating, I had cold sweats from it. She said I wasn’t dying and offered me a prescription for morphine. I was like no thanks. You don’t even know what’s causing this pain and I’m pregnant. She sent me home with a bill for nothing. Thankfully she was right that I didn’t die. But I did have to have my gallbladder removed. So props to the nurse for knowing more that Karagosian. If this woman has so much hatred for human beings she should probably work behind the scenes

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
