Lydia Garcia's Online Review Report Card

I had an appointment today for the annual pap test. When the nurse said I'd also have a breast exam, I said "no thanks- I just had a mammogram last month." Then I asked if I could leave a urine sample, as I was having some UTI symptoms. She said, yes, and directed me to the bathroom.As I waited for the doctor, the nurse came back in and said the doctor would not do the pap test without also doing the breast exam. I didn't need both, and it bothered me that they would force me to do that, so I said I would leave, and asked if they would still send my urine culture to the lab ? She said no, so I asked if I could then take my urine specimen to my urologist. Again, no. I prefer a doctor who will listen to the patient, and truly care what they say. If you like to be listened to, go somewhere else.

I normally see someone else in this practice, who has always been amazing but in June of 2021, I was seen by Dr Garcia. Not only was she rude and didn’t seem to be all that interested in listening to what my issues were, her recommendations for treatment were not only ridiculous but did nothing to help fix the issue. I had to go back twice more (months apart) and each time she told me to just keeping doing what she told me to. Each time with an increasingly dismissive attitude. In January of 2022 I went back because the issue was still not resolved. I was seen by my regular Dr who immediately recommended meds that Dr Garcia never even mentioned and within a month the issue was resolved. I suffered for months needlessly because Dr Garcia did not care enough to take the time to actually listen to her patient.

A great place to go if: -You don't want your concerns to be listened to -You don't want to be told anything about the medications you are being prescribed -You would like to be told conflicting things each visit -You enjoy nurses making unnecessary comments about your weight, for no medical reasons at all

Cannot speak about Dr. Garcia personally, as I did not see her. However, I can tell you that her office staff is not the most efficient at checking the accuracy of current contact information so make sure you do that as a patient before booking an appointment.

Love Dr. Garcia! She makes me feel comfortable and at ease. Very informative and caring manner. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Lydia Garcia was terrific! I loved her personality right away. She is very thorough and covers all grounds. Leaves no stone unturned, if you will. I love how she likes to get our other doctors involved to solve the issues that brought me to her. I can't say enough about her. She squeezed me in, when everyone else wouldn't take me till August. Thank you Lydia and your staff is wonderful too. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia. You will not be disappointed. She puts you at ease with her personality and as a doctor, you can't ask for anyone better. Thank you.
