Great doctor! Unfortunately, terrible scheduling staff. My physical got pushed a few times and the last person to call me could not accommodate the week day I requested because "Doctor Vella is too busy to let you choose a day of the week you will be seen" I wouldn't mind if my physical was pushed a out again, I'm healthy and not in dire need of a visit. My work doesn't permit me to leave on certain days of the week. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new primary care doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Vella for a few years. He's just OK. Wish he was more assertive and invested in my health care. I recently had an annual physical with him. All he did was listen to my heart and breathing. Not sure why I even put a Johnny on. The poorest physical I've ever had. It's time to find another doctor, which is no easy in this area.

Dr. Vella has been my Primary Care Physician for the past 2 years. He is a great listener who knows his medicine. Easy to talk to and very down to earth. He saw things, like a small hand tremor, that I hadn't noticed and assured I was examined by a specialist. When I am seen by his staff for commonplace ills and injuries, I always receive the top notch care. His PA and Nurses are the best. I always feel like I'm in good hands with his practice. BRD
