Treated like a second class citizen. Total disregard for my existence.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and wanted to change out our provider to a more local practice. Dr. Reed was great from start to finish. She was professional, on time and her caring attitude was felt throughout the exam. Very personable and caring. Front end support was friendly and courteous. We would highly recommend the practice.

So far so good - my first visit went well. I felt that the eye exam was thorough. Also, it appears that new lenses can be fitted to my existing frames, saving money and preserving ones that I feel look well and should provide years more of service. I can report further when I have more experience.

When we moved to the Upper Valley, our previous eyecare was provided us back in Saco, ME, by two very competent husband and wife eye specialists. It quickly became apparent that convenience and professionalism was a must for us here, not a day's round trip to Saco. From the very first time that Donna examined my eyes (I am a diabetic and had recently begun to wear glasses at 48), she took the time to explain how diabetes, if left unchecked, would begin to affect my vision. Since then, she has taken great care to review past exams and point out what both aging and diabetes can do to my vision. Many thanks to her professional approach, and to even suggest a specialist when the lens on one eye developed a "crinkle", slightly blurring the previously precise vision that I enjoyed as a young man. She and Apple Tree Opticians in her office have kept my vision stable for the past 26 years. She engenders trust and confidence in her care and abilities, and along with her office staff, provide a "go to", stable and reliable source for complete eyecare. I would hope that she can continue to provide us with the same service until she retires, which is many years away.

Dr. Reed has been my optometrist since she moved to New London. I've seen her for my eye care for many years. She completes the entire eye exam herself, instead of having an assistant do some of the exam. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Reed.

I'm a new patient. I've had dozens of eye exams lifetime, and Dr. Reed was perhaps the best. Cutting edge equipment, professional interpretation of the results. Thoroughly covered and conveyed every aspect of my vision.

Coming from a military family, I’ve been fortunate to have regular eye exams available to me my entire life. As I’ve gone into my 50’s, my eyes have needed more frequent script updates. I can personally say, having exams AND prescriptions from both Doctors here, they are by far the best I’ve had. Actually, I didn’t even know an eye exam could be as complete and my prescription so laser focused until I started coming here. I use very expensive progressive tri-focals and sunglasses for driving. If you can get an appointment here, you are likely to be well served. Peter
