Sirona Pruna's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Pruna for over 10 years she has a woman's best interest at all times. She tells you how it is. Very straightforward and has helped me with many female problems. I highly recommend Her! My only regret is that I know she will retire some day. I will be completely lost without her.

Causes unnecessary pain because she does not care about you at all, rude, disrespectful. Horrendous experience getting an IUD. Horrendous experience getting an IUD put in. She called me "crazy" for wanting an IUD at 22. Her medical knowledge is extremely out of date. I took the Misoprostol prescribed for pain and came to the appointment only to find out the IUD hadn't even been ordered so I had to reschedule and take it again! However, the worst part was being COMPLETELY ignored while in the worst pain of my life when I asked when it would end. How can a doctor be this uncaring?

She listens to your concerns and explains things

It took me way too long to fully understand how uncomfortable this woman makes me feel. I’ve been going to her for yearly visits since I was 20 and every visit she asks me when I will get married and when will I have children. Newsflash, lady: Not every woman wants to get married, not every woman wants to have children. After 7 years of enduring her old school questions, I have finally decided to find a new gyno.

I did not like Dr. Pruna. I had a Mirena put in elseswhere, after 6 months of pain and issues , she argued with me claiming that I couldn't be feeling the pain I was expressing. She gave me a hard time when I asked to have it removed and berated me when I denied the other options she offered. I left the office crying after repeatedly telling her I didn't want to chance trying another long term birth control option. She also stated I had an issue but then denied it at the next appointment.

I wouldn't go to anyone else. She listens well, gives good explanations , and has a superior knowledge base. She made me feel quite comfortable. I ended up having s hysterectomy and it was the best decision I ever made!

She is an amazing doctor. I feel very comfortable with her knowledge and expertise. I feel very safe with her treating me and have had nothing but great experiences with her care. I highly recomend Dr Pruna.

Dr pruna is the sweetest woman I have ever met. She listens to my concerns and has been helping me with gynecological issues I have been having the past couple of years! I moved and will absolutely make the drive to still see this woman. I absolutely adore her and her nurses.

I am so glad I have found her! I had stage 4 Endometriosis and infertility problem that has been solved but lately I was concern that the endometriosis has came back since my youngest one is now 22 month old. I searched for an OB/Gyn in the area who has interest and expertise in endometriosis and I found her at Lamprey Hospital. At my first initial appointment with her, by the time she entered the room she has already know everything about my past endometriosis and infertility history! It was like she has been my doctor for the past 5 years! Very impressive the fact that she studied my file even before she met me! She even knows the surgeon and the specialist I went to for my infertility and endometriosis issues in the past. She then immediately order a pelvic US to check on my endometriosis. She also did a pelvic exam and removed a polyp that she discovered at the same day of my first initial appointment with her. A week after my pelvic US, I met her again and she was thoroughly explain the result of my polyp and the US. She educated me verbally and even showing me pictures and explain everything in details! She makes me feel like she really does care about me and my concerns. Thank you Dr. Pruna! I know that every time I have any concern about my female stuff I would always be able to talk to you and that you would always guide me with your expertise!
