I was extremely pleased with my first visit. Upon check-in, I was greeted warmly by a medical assistant and escorted to X-ray. Next to the doctor’s office. Each procedure was performed quickly and efficiently, not rushed. My meeting with Dr. Sastry was great. He explained the results of my X-rays and explained the next steps in treatment. Explanation was detailed and easy to understand. Questions were answered. I would gladly recommend Dr. Sastry and this orthopedic group.

After looking at my records and X-Rays we discussed my options (and he explained them in a manner that any layperson would understand). The final decision was mine. That decision was to have total left knee replacement. Dr. Sastry asked me when and where - I said, as soon as possible, at NECOS. Surgery went extremely well and the staff that works with Dr, Sastry are very professional and kind. They all know their stuff. Would I recommend Dr. Sastry? - A resounding "YES", In fact, I already have!

Dr. Sastry just replaced my right hip 6/19/23. This time was even better than my left hip replacement he did on 8/11/21. I heartily recommend him as an exceptionally proficient surgeon.

Dr. Sastry's diagnosis after Spinal Xray said I had spinal stenosis when I thought it was a hip problem. I thought he explained it thoroughly. Prescribed physical therapy, MRI and follow-up appt with Dr. Lehn. I was very happy I went to him.

Dealing with Dr. Sastry was great taking the time to answer my many Questions. However dealing with with prepping information was rushed. Get him in get out, the individual was rehearsing a memorized character script.

I just finished my 6 wk check up after my right total knee surgery. Once again he took his time explaining & listening to all my concerns. I am very pleased by his care and the team in the office.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Sastry. He genuinely cares very deeply for his patients. He is incredibly knowledgeable and always on time. His staff and assistants are top notch. I wish he was also my primary care doc. He exemplifies what a doctor should be. The facility in portsmouth is also top notch. The surgical center and staff is the BEST I have had Excellent care there…better than any hospital I’ve ever been in. Highly highly recommend Dr Sastry. I’m pain free and doing things I have not been able to do for years!
