This doctor did great work with a procedure that I had to have done. In that regard, he is excellent. However, in terms of feeling heard and validated, that was something that I did not experience. I can only hope that other people feel seen, and that their problems are viewed as important by this individual, however, I did not have that experience.

He listens to what I say and helps me make informed decisions about what I want to do with my care.

The most unsettling care I have ever received. He saw me once when he performed a colonoscopy and since he saw nothing despite my daily debilitating pain and vomiting he told me it's anxiety and flatly refused to do more testing or prescribe me anything. I had a follow up apt. today with him where he said he refused to do more and told me to "deal with it". I tried telling him this pain is not anxiety and that I have been unable to function, and I even requested a referral to a different doctor for a second opinion, and he said "no". I have never witnessed such disregard for patient care and grotesque incompetence. Even my PCP and his own nurse in the hospital told me he was neglecting me. When I asked if he tells men in extreme pain that it's just anxiety he said yes, and I wish I had said then you must not be a very good doctor. Fifteen years of schooling to continuously tell patients it's anxiety when you have failed them as a doctor is a poor admittance. Any doctor worth his weight knows the absence of evidence in imaging does not automatically equal no diagnosis, especially when you can't be bothered to even try. If and when they discover what is wrong with me I will make sure he does not forget.

Very uninterested. Hadn't looked at my file before my appt. Took 10 minutes to decide my acid reflux was the cause of my coughing and breathing difficulties. Said take meds and come back in 3 months. Even when I said I was having problems breathing and was choking. I Wouldn't go back if they paid me. Lazy, arrogant & dismissive.

Treated the way everyone should be treated

I told him I wanted to fix the problem not be on meds forever... his response “you're taking pages of supplements and I've had to do liver transplants because that isn't safe and regulated” .... no you had to do liver transplants because the over the counter vitamins sold at CVS has cyanide in it and titanium dioxide and are full of toxic crap. Including the fucking ibuprofen! The plan was never to be on these supplements permanently. I’m on them to fix the deficiencies which you would know if you'd spent anytime at all talking to me! This doctor has no interest in you as a person or a patient he just wants to throw pills at you and get you out of his office. He’s extremely arrogant with horrible bedside manners. Look elsewhere for a doctor that cares

Worst ever. Dismissive and condescending to me, a patient at the hospital in pain and hoping/needing some real help. Even though my chronic symptoms, labs and imaging showed obvious signs of long-term gall bladder issues, this doc told me nothing was wrong with me and that he saw no reason for my pain or for me to be in the hospital. He negated what three other doctors had diagnosed (the man truly thinks he is God), he is extremely rude, especially to women. Do not ever see this disgraceful dismissive “doctor,”. The absolute worst. Last time I checked, IBS does not give a person itchy spells, Doctor D-bag.

Dr. Damianos is an amazing dr. He didn’t sugarcoat how bad my Crohn’s disease was and even after my surgery to remove the Crohn’s, he came and visited me in the hospital. He has such a big heart and cares deeply for his patients

Great doctor, and staff!

Dr. Aristotle Damianos really cares about his patients. My husband and I have him as our Gastroenterologist. He has been very helpful coordinating working with out other Doctors for my husband who is quite ill. He feels and we all do, that we can always trust his judgment. He is a special doctor.
