Terrible in the long term, Dr. Deull acceptably treated my children for allergies and asthma for years. After a few years of trusting her knowledge and advice, I thought she was a good doctor. Then, she recommended flu and pneumonia shots for my children because of their 'vulnerability'. My daughter's health worsened, having 'POTS' vaccine reaction and my son suspiciously developed 'Tourette's Syndrome' immediately after the first flu injection. She recommended that I, as their carer, also have the flu shot. I did so, then my health plummeted, as I developed severe neurological and gut conditions. It actually took me a while to connect the dots. If you chose to seek care from this doctor, please do not follow her advice on 'protecting your health' with flu and pneumonia vaccines.

Dr. Deuell is a very smart doctor. Sounds clichéd, but it's true. I spent $1000 going on an emergency visit to the Jules Stein Eye Clinic at UCLA and they prescribed expensive medicine for what turned out to be an allergy issue. She caught it, told me what to take (pennies on the dollar) and I've been pretty much on my own handling it. She was amazing. It was a mystery to everyone else. She's kind and smart. What more do you want?

Many years of seeing Dr. Deuell, with little success or effective treatments. The above poster is correct that she quickly gets to "I don't know what else I can do to help you." Once she has suggested a few courses of action and/or the standard ideas don't work, she is basically done with you, but will continue requiring checkups, to say the same thing.

Before seeing Dr. Deuell I was miserable with allergy-related issues. For years I suffered. once I started with Dr. Deuell my allergies are no longer controlling my life and I am able to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. She is caring and knowledgeable. The support staff is also wonderful!

Dr. Deuell is friendly and returns phone calls quickly. She seem to have a one size fits all approach to treatments and if it doesn't work has a difficult time coming up with any alternatives or other ideas to try, not even recommending some extremely common and effective treatments. She also seems to be extremely heavy handed with medications, prescribing 2-4 times a normal dose without a good explanation, and without trying a normal dose to see if it is effective first. She also doesn't seem well versed in the side effects of said medication, and when presented with a side effect that almost hospitalized a patient of hers stands by the recommendation to keep taking it. Another doctors recommendation to follow exactly the opposite of her advice proved extremely effective. It is possible that skin allergies just isn't her specialty, I would avoid this provider for any skin related issues.

Top Notch Doc in every possible way! Great listener and generous with different tests including blood tests. Fantastic intuition. The support staff is wonderful as well.

Very knowledgeable and gave good well informed opinions of my condition I highly recommend.

Dr Duell is caring and kind. My allergies are not controlling me anymore. Used to be sick all the time! Not anymore.
