Dr. Palacio is one of the best doctors out there. He takes his time to listen to your symptoms, then does a thorough exam, and then looks at the test results. He proceeds to present all options that are available to you as a patient. Been my surgeon since 2019. He’s number one in my book!

Amazing doctor/patient interaction. Dr. Palacio actually spoke to us in terms that we could understand without having a PhD ourselves. The office staff was great as well! I would highly recommend coming here .

I'm going way back to 2012. I had a bleed in my brain and an associated hemorrhagic stroke. We started out at a local small hospital where a ct scan revealed the blood pooling in my skull and the choice was to transport me to Portsmouth or Boston. I chose Portsmouth as it was closer. Once the bleeding was under control, it was revealed that I had a significant clotting situation that had my entire left side shut down. Enter Dr Palacio. He explained the severity of the situation very clearly, and recommended surgery to removed the clot and thus the pressure causing my left side deficit. Explained the potential risks associated with the surgery. And opposing risks for not having the surgery. He provided us with more than enough information to be able to make the decision very easy. Today I'm 98% recovered with only a very minor vision field deficit. Everything else is good.

Facing a traumatic neck injury I was very relieved with the staff and Dr P. Answered every question so I could understand, thorough, professional and gracious. I hope you never need to see a neurosurgeon but if you do and you have the option to see Dr. Palacios, you'll be in good hands.
