List of Edward H. Jaccoma's Reviews
Dr. Jaccoma spent close to an hour with me. The appt was not hurried. My appt was at 2:45 I got out after 5 pm. Everything was explained in great detail AND I got a link to more information on line. Things made sense to me. I will be returning with my final review after my treatment.
I contacted Dr. Jaccoma for my dry eyes, and need of an ophthalmologist's exam). While the office is a bit "different" with the various personalities of staff. Wait times were short and "everything" I asked was explained thoroughly by all I talked to. Dr. Jaccoma himself performed two dry eye procedures (left & right) over a period of several months. I had complete examinations and he went over all the findings thoroughly explaining what was what and what he anticipated doing...and its a fairly complicated explanation that he makes easy. He was extremely personable and professional. After the first procedure, I had a bit of a bump in the road and he immediately "worked me in that day" to re-examine me and set me at ease. VERY impressive.
Best description for this doctor is a snake oil salesman. There are many other specialists in dry eye treatment in the area. I recommend you avoid this doctor
Very knowledgeable and thorough but talks too fast when he’s explaining things! Otherwise highly recommended.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
