After a sudden onset of severe pain in my right eye, I was referred to Dr Armbruster from Wells Emergency Care. He was performing surgery but would meet us at is office in Kittery.(closed for the holiday weekend). He feared a threat of glaucoma that urgently needed treatment.. We were an hour late in traffic to find the doctor waiting in his car for me.. His warm, reassuring care (no glaucoma) and kindness to this 82 year old stranger must be acknowledged. His treatment? This AM no pain

Dr. Armbruster is genuinely concerned about your case and takes plenty of time to explain everything. He is a wonderful doctor from the era that was less concerned about having a slick waiting room and cramming in as many patients as possible.

I was working back in 1997 and when I when to pick up something I lost my site, I am I Diabetic for over 30 years when this happen and ot was a Friday before the holiday. On Saturday Dr Armbruster had to do surgery on a detached retina and the next day was a Sunday and he open up this office to make sure I was ok!!! He saved my eye!
