Very attentive and explains test results and other medical information clearly in a way that patients can understand. My mother recently needed a procedure and Dr. Altamar went out of his way to meet her at the surgical center, making her feel reassured and well taken care of. We feel fortunate to have found a great doctor and kind office.

Dr. Altamar saved my life while working at the Urology Dept of the Walter Reed Military Medical Center. I had bladder cancer. He removed the tumor six years ago and put me through a series of BCG treatments that has lead to my bladder functioning normal again. I could not have asked for better treatment. Dr. Altamar knows his business and cares about people. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor.
