Like someone else said- "I thought I was happy with Dr Kavanagh and trusted her to do her job well." I have had constant tearing, burning, red eyes for many years now, nothing seems to work. Just went to her again this week and she basically blamed me for rubbing my eyes too much (I don't), not wearing an eye guard at night (that I didn't have), and not using drops as frequently as she thinks I should (they don't work). Nothing about root cause to why my eyes have been this bad for this long. Felt rushed and not listened to. Guess I'll go elsewhere.
I thought I was happy with Dr Kavanagh and trusted her to do her job well. When I spoke of my concern over my sagging eyelids, she told me that 95% of what she did was surgery to correct sagging lids. I NEVER should have let her touch me! I feel like a 1st grade sewing project! You can see every stitch mark on my eyelids! I now have to were dark glasses every time I go out. I am afraid to close my eyes on the beach or anywhere because of the scars on my eyelids. I awoke during the surgery to hear her talking about her kids and her weekend and had to interrupt the conversation to let them know I could feel the stitching!! After surgery she acted like she did a great job and that all was well. At home I had to cut thread that she left VERY long and that made me nervous and uncomfortable. She is NOT a plastic surgeon and in my opinion not qualified to do this type of surgery! Do yourself a favor and find a certified plastic surgeon - you will be glad you did!
Does not listen to patient concerns, does not look for long term solutions. Does not follow through not just but Susan Haskkell as well! chronic dry eyes continue to worsen cancelled my last appointment with them as they are a waste of time and money. Has DONE NOTHING TO EASE CONSTANT Secretions, burning dry eyes I now spend upwards of $60 /week on ineffective over the counter medication just to try to prevent clouded vision and infection! Find another provider! Save yourself the frustration
"BEWARE" ..... They quoted me $179.00 for a consultation w/Marsh... After my 5mins consultation, they charged me $303.00!!!! MAJOR RIP OFF & TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.....
I was referred to Dr. Kavanagh for a deeply embedded cyst in my right eyelid. I got the consult very quickly and just as quickly was scheduled for surgery. She is very personable and quickly reduced my anxiety. The surgery was painless and bloodless during and after. I am now 2 weeks out and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend her to anyone. I think she is a very talented woman, very good at what she does.
I found her kind , caring and pleasant. She performed a bilateral blepheroplasty. Her objective was clearly to improve my vision, not cosmetic. I never had any pain; it's been two weeks. Not only is my vision drastically improved but I have an unexpected bonus of more beautiful eyes. People notice! It makes me feel more sure of myself. To me she is WonderWoman. I can't imagine going anywhere else for eye care.
Overall ok. I didn't feel that she was really listening to me.
she was rushed on every appt. Not more than 5 minutes of time
The staff and doctors at Eyesight were all excellent. Dr. Peters bedside manner was extremely caring. My daughter saw him at his LASIK practice, Clear Advantage Vision Correction Center, and he was just as kind and caring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
