I do not like to compromise anyone's livelihood or reputation. Particularly a Doctor, but I found this doctor dismissive, uncaring who did not properly explain the difference (not upgraded expensive lenses) but the regular cataract lens covered by Medicare. On my 2nd visit the day before cataract surgery, I expressed deep concern of the disclaimer I had to sign; he flatly asked whether I wanted to see far or near. My thought process was that since I could see far, I prefer to get rid of readers to see near, he promptly said, "fine" - did not explain the ramifications (this 2nd visit was a quick) and I signed a new disclaimer ( It was then that I learned it was a different lens). It's 2 months later I have blurry vision 6 feet in front of me and I still need readers. (I do not wear glasses just readers). I subsequently saw another Surgeon to find the lens placed in my right eye is rarely used and not recommended. Now I'm faced with a new right eye surgery that may or may not be covered.

Now I'm faced with a new right eye surgery that may or may not be covered or correct my vision. I also developed scar tissue. Needless to say, my left eye will be done by this other surgeon who was thorough and explained everything to me. I am not saying keep away from EYESIGHT in NH (which I will never ever go back to) but I am stating to beware of this particular doctor. I am deeply offended how he did this to my vision and can hide behind a disclaimer. SHAME ON HIM.

I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Peters. I have Fuchs dystrophy, which Dr. Peters ignored, it’s not that bad which I found out from cornea specialist. He also told me the cataracts weren’t bad and I ended up having cataract surgery. The cornea specialist performed the surgery.

I was nervous about the procedure and frankly apprehensive at best to have it done. Doctor Peters is a true professional and did a remarkable job!

The staff and doctors at Eyesight were all excellent. Dr. Peters bedside manner was extremely caring. My daughter saw him at his LASIK practice, Clear Advantage Vision Correction Center, and he was just as kind and caring.
