My husband and I are patients of Dr Emmick. He is a wonderful Dr..And takes whatever time is needed. We are so fortunate to have him as our Dr. He is good at explaining things..And recommend alternatives. One of the Best!!!
I recommend this place to everybody, I have been a patient of Dr. Yehling since 2013 and I wouldn't trade her or her nurse Jenna for anything in the world.. I don't have one complaint about this place the office people are geat, the phlemophelist are great. All the nurses are great.. I see a y"all complaining about one of the nurses Kathy, heck guys did you ever stop to think that's just her personality.. shes not all that bad . Dont let one bad egg ruin the whole dozen.. This place is a 10 plus in my heart..
Not sure why people are voting this place as negative but Dr.Yehling is a great doctor and so are the nurses. Never have had any issues with calling for receptionists they call me back very timely and quickly and are sure to help me in any way they can. I travel quite some distance to go so to me it’s worth it! They also have a pediatric center
Horrible office. Almost every time we call about an appointment. They say they get back to us. Recently it's been a week or so now. I dont reccomend this office to anyone!!
Update: the nurse apologized and the issue is being resolved and won't happen in the future. I have had previously had wonderful experiences, so I am updating my review to 5 stars. Currently waiting 45 minutes for a flu shot for my child. Two people came in after us and were taken in before. Finding a new doctor!
I had been at this primary care for a long time. I had an awful experience with a nurse, Kathy- who had no idea about my current situation with hep c and the fact I was cleared of it with proper medication. I had unprotected sex with a long time boyfriend- and my IUD had come out. I called to talk to a nurse to see if I could have plan B sent to my pharmacy- and she freaked out at me on the phone and accused me of giving my own boyfriend a disease I never had at the time. (Mind you hep c is blood on blood contact). She told me she would not send plan B to the pharmacy, in spite. Kathy told me to go to planned parenthood. ( I don’t have my own car, and I was nowhere near a planned parenthood at the time to have them fix it in time of me avoiding a second pregnancy. So, just because this nurse felt as though she could talk to me in such a way and give me a pregnancy scare because of her whacked out beliefs, is awful. She knew my family and my situation of being a single mother. I will never recommend this office to anybody.
Tried to make an appointment, was told they are not taking new patients. Things in the medical profession must be too good. I do not believe I have ever heard of a company turning down new business.
I had been a client here for many years. I had spent 3 weeks trying to refill my birth control, they told me I needed to go in and see the doctor. I had made multiple appointments and every time they had cancelled because it wasn't an available time. I had finally, in the 3 week and 2 day mark got a hold of the nurse (Cathy) and she had denied me my prescription completely telling me I needed to make an apt while also raising her voice, interrupting me while I was speaking (as I was trying to explain I had been calling or 3 weeks), and being completely rude. She then acknowledged the fact that I had made several appointments and they weren't available times. (they cancelled on me) I had made another apt. as my last attempt and (mind you I hadn't had my prescription for 3 weeks I had run out) they had no available times for two weeks. I've called a different doctors office and now have 0000 issue with getting prescription refills and appointments. I will NEVER be going to them again. I feel so disrespected and like my time has been wasted considering the patience I had over the 4 week period (by the time I had given up) of going without my refill prescription. My body had been effected by this greatly and I had to start from square one for my body's cycle and I was in total pain throughout the time I had been going without my refill. Very inconsiderate and rude office I would recommend never going.
Both of my children and myself see Dr. Jason Emmick at this office. He is wonderful. My youngest was severely premature, he has been her doctor since she left the NICU and I have been more than impressed with the ease of getting appointments if problems arise with him or another doctor. Our previous primary would always force us to see a nurse practitioner for sick visits. Never a doctor, here we always see a doctor and they take us seriously. Dr. Emmick is incredible. at every visit he sits and discusses any issues or concerns, and answers every question. After numerous visits for our youngest and feeling more than comfortable with his ability and competence we transferred our son over to this office again with Dr. Emmick. He is very thorough and had spent quite a bit of time looking through my son's medical records and helping to pin point some problems. After being satisfied again with the level of care I transferred myself there. Dr. Emmick typically has a 6 month waiting list for new patients but got me in for a non urgent visit in less then 2 weeks. He sat down, again and got a full medical history, we talked about some concerns I had and he had reviewed my medical records. After our discussion regarding my concerns he told me he thought my severe anxiety disorder, previously treated with anti-anxiety medication was directly related to undiagnosed ADHD and suggested medication. Since starting the medication my anxiety went from a 10 on a scale of 1-10 to a 1 or 2. I would recommend the office, and specifically dr. Emmick to anyone. The only reason I did not give five stars is because dr. Emmick does tend to run behind. I have found making appointments early in the morning or after lunch helps. But, he runs late because he spends the time to address questions and concerns and takes his time to look at the whole picture, so I will continue to the good with the bad. All of our interactions with the other doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and administrative staff have been positive ones. This office and the doctors are AMAZING!
My primary doctor is here, and I'm fairly happy with her. Staff is always helpful and they really try to make sure you don't wait more than 10 minutes once you've checked in. Had some issues with administrative stuff, e.g. a letter for my employer written by a PA (doctor wasn't available that day) that looked more like a ransom note with some kindergarten style cut and paste, and my surname was wrong as well. Change of one vowel turned it into a digestive dysfunction! When I saw my doctor next, I showed her a copy. She was quite dismayed that something like that came out of an Elliot network office. Another time a prescription was sent in, to be processed a year in the future, instead of present day. I like that they have lab facilities to take bloodwork, and ability to do digital X-rays and mammograms on site, without having to go into the city. Shoulder X-rays were the reason for my visit on this occasion. The techs always let me have a look at the images - having studied osteology at university, I have a real fascination seeing inside my own body. I'm weird that way. ;) Overall satisfied with my health care, but room for improvement with the support staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
