We had a loved one in the emergency room. Karen the nurse in the ED was extremely rude. Both of us were in the medical field and understand HIPPA. We were talked to like 3rd class citizens. I did Fire EMS for 28 years and my wife did hospice. Karen does NOT belong doing nursing if she can’t talk to people properly. All we wanted to do is make sure the person was safe nothing more. I can assure that Karen would never work for me

My relative ended up going here...he actually had a bed and slept in the hallway. The doctor was rude and incompetent...he actually told the patient that he shouldnt go to rehab because he wouldnt like it. Awful doctor...so incompetent. The pt nurse was also rude and incompetent. She obviously doesnt like her job nor does she do her job... explains the fatness

10162021My daughter just had her 3rd child here and had requested her mother be there at the birth with she and her husband as they both have anxiety and was worried it being his first child that he may pass out but they refused to allow her even though she was vaccinated. They would not even allow her to be out in the maternity ward waiting area by herself so her daughter would know she was close but would only allow her to wait in the ER waiting area with the sick. They would not give her reasoning for what harm it would do to be upstairs outside the in the waiting area of the maternity ward itself for her daughters piece of mind except that it was hospital policy and yet the next day would allow her INSIDE the ward itself in their room after birth. I feel they owe the daughter an apology theyre lack of patient respect and piece of mind during this time. The mother refused to even return to the hospital at all. Why would she when they called security on her for asking a valid question on their ignorance. Separating the family is what this world is about today and FMH is at the top of the list making sure this happens. To make matters worse her husband suffered a seizure and she rushed to get help wrenched her ankle and fell and wrenched her back. Wouldnt have happened had they had their support person available as their own covid visitor policy allowsExceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances.Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patients treatment. I had knee surgery on 9162021. It was my first experience at Frisbee Hospital. From the preregistration over the phone the scheduling over the phone going for the covid test prior to surgery and the day of surgery everyone was kind professional caring. The facility was clean and comfortable and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to everyone involved in my care.

I showed up at the er around 650 am and no one was in the waiting room which I figured was great Id get taken in soon. After 25 minutes i walked over to the desk to ask how much longer it might be I was told that they were in the process of doing their 7 am turn over. So from what I have taken from this is that during turn over times medical staff doesnt care if your in pain sitting in the waiting room or not. As long as they dont get stuck here late or have to work the second they walk in.

ER visit was very quick Very friendly and helpful staff

the emergency dept is owned by a seperate group that is out of network for your own employees. the group bills for out of network at 5 times the costs to recoup more money than and in network bill its called balanced billing and it is a dirty practice. and now radiology is the same too. to boot I have been sent home on seperate occasions with my shoulder actively dislocated because they care more about their discharge time than actual patient care. I was told my shoulder couldnt dislocate that easy and they tried to say I didnt have Ehlers Danlos. FMH and HCA care more about money than patient care and it is clear to not only the patients but the employees whom actually care about patients are punished and most of them have left because again the almighty dollar. FMH would rather have to charge you thousands of dollars to hospitalize you than to prevent the problem. hense why so my primaries have left yet you flaunt your new equipment.

Frisbee cannot get any worse now that theyre forprofit hospital thats contributing to the high health insurance cost thats always been the issue in this country. People need to realize its not just health insurance companies thats the issue.Good doctors are leaving and the facility simply exist as money making machine like so many forprofit hospitals. Thats not the kind of care people want when we are simply treated like cash generating objects.I stopped going here even though its the closest hospital the quality of the service has gone WAY down. Dont support hospitals like this thats cause Americans to go bankrupt over simple healthcare that everyone deserves. Shame on you Frisbee and HCA Healthcare 👎👎👎

The place is a joke. Theyd rather send you home to die than keep you and treat you. If I hadnt gone to Wentworth Douglas right after going to Frisbee I would have lost my life literally. And they treat their employees even worse I know this from experience working there. So my advice is if you can make it to Dover. Go right on past Frisbee and continue on to Wentworth Douglas Hospital if you want to continue living. Frisbee Hospital treats everyone like theyre junkies looking for a fix.

For the past two years my husband and I have been patients at Frisbee Memorial Hospital particularly the Wound Care Clinic usually on a weekly basis. There has not been one occasion that Don has not greeted us and everyone else in our presence with Kindness Professionalism and Humor When COVID arrived He stepped up to the challenge. I hope he never retires. It will leave a huge whole in the heart of Frisbee Memorial Hospital.
