List of Charles M. Blitzer's Reviews
Dr. Blitzer and his asst were terrific. They were thorough and took the time to answer questions. Everything was explained quite well. I felt I was in extremely qualified hands.
Br. Blitzer and the entire staff at Seacoast Orthopedics were absolutely excellent. I was seen the same day I called for an appointment and within the same week had a follow up appointment and a recommendation and conclusion to my treatment. I cannot say enough how well I was treated and the excellent care I was given.
I waited on hold to get through to his office for 3 hours, finally left a message and never got a returned call. I went to office instead and the line of patients was out the door. It stayed that way the entire two hours I was there. While there are some upgrades going on in this office, I must praise the staff for keeping a positive attitude under what appeared to be an extremely overbooked schedule. Dr. Blitzer is very kind but, again the schedule is too full for him to treat patients appropriately due to time constraints. I had a fractured, dislocated and stitched finger. On day 8 Dr. Blitzer decided to remove my stitches even though I expressed extreme concern about cut being to bone and it being too soon. He is the Dr., so they began removing them. After only half coming out the cut opened right back up. I waited another 5 days and had the rest of the stitches removed, elsewhere. That half healed great. Now at end of week 3 I still have a half open, unhealing wound that is also infected. Dr. Blitzer apologized, at the time, and said he was trying to save me a trip (or what seemed to me more like them not having to schedule another appointment) . While I can understand where he was coming from, I wish he had listened to me. I would be completely healed and not having to see another Dr.. He is no doubt a very qualified Dr., they need to try to cut back on overbooking and go back to having time to properly tend to patients rather than rush them out!!! I am extremely dissatisfied with my visit, and while I will not go back, I wish the best for his practice and hope that very soon the office gets back into what it should be in hopes that no one else has to share my bad experience. Dr. Blitzer seems like an exceptional Dr., but circumstances seem to be holding him back from treating patients with as much care as I am sure he would like to and his patients deserve.
A great doctor who really knows what he is doing. Very conservative and thorough during his care. One of the best in the country in my opinion.
He did surgery on both shoulders about 10 years apart from 2 different accidents, great job!!
Saved me from losing my left lower leg.
Dr. Blitzer basically saved my leg. He went in 7 times due to compartment syndrome and made sure I was in the loop about what was happening with my leg. My follow- up appointments at seacoast ortho were also very pleasant. Wait time was very minimal and Dr. Blitzer was very up-front and honest about the condition of my leg. My injury was in Jan 2012 and I still stay in contact with Dr. Blitzer even though I live in Canada now. I value his advice greatly.
Dr blitzer and his physician assistant are the worst, medical team, being condescending to me and refusal to help me and have caused me to be in agony for months,UNNECCESSARILY. DO NOT EVER SEE THIS PRACTICE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU.
SPENT VERY LITTLE TIME, THEN LEFT AND DID NOT COME BACK INTO THE ROOM

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
