Two doctors in this practice I would NEVER recommend, Dr Rubin, WORST BESIDE MANNER and I suffered for years because he didn’t order an ultrasound.. that was years ago. Dr Munot performed my colonoscopy on 3/9. I never met her before and didn’t until I was 30 seconds from being medicated. I NEVER saw her after, or heard from her since.. I had a few issues and have ever heard from her.. I thought maybe the Mass Gen side would improve that practice, apparently not.

I had Dr Munot for a biopsy, she kept me well informed and was very reassuring at a time I needed it the most. I highly recommend Dr. Munot. And thanks for your service.

This doctor lacks empathy and compassion. Instead of trying to find the root cause of my chronic pain and abnormal lab values, she prescribed me an antidepressant. Not only did she dismiss my pain, but she simply did not care. She said, verbatim "I'm sorry that I don't have a magic pill" before even assessing or asking me any questions. She also diagnosed the burning pain I have in my stomach and mouth with "IBS." A blanket term that my symptom doesn't even fall under.

Dr Munot doesn’t care! I have proof. She was my doctor for a non-routine colonoscopy. I had a violent reaction to the bowel prep solution. I honestly thought I might die! Despite missing the hospital appointment, Dr Munot didn’t call, not even during the 2 hours that were specifically set aside for my colonoscopy. Several days later, her nurse returned MY call and suggested a different bowel prep solution. I again had a very violent reaction to the new prep solution; my reaction so severe I honestly thought I might die (again). Again, despite missing the hospital appointment for a second time, Dr Munot didn’t call. After several days, she finally returned MY call, only to tell me that she was “busy” tending to very ill patients (even during the 2 hrs set aside for my colonoscopy). I WAS AND CONTINUE TO BE THAT VERY ILL PATIENT. Now I am in search of a new gastrointestinal doctor. Dr Munot is too busy to tend to my serious issues. I suspect she’s too busy for yours too.
