Arrived 8 minutes late for an appointment. This was my second appointment. They refused to see me, unbelievable horrible experience. I was experiencing a lot of discomfort from my sciatica that day and they could of cared less . I was told to wait in office to see if they could find time for me that day. After an hour of waiting they told me they couldn’t fit me in that day. I contacted administration and still got no resolve .Office is difficult to find if you are not familiar with Portsmouth or don’t have navigation. Almost impossible to even get an appointment to begin with and extremely long wait times between appointments. Go to someone who truly cares about people.
I was sent to her by my surgeon to try and help figure out why I wasn’t getting any better after Surgery and with weeks of PT. Honestly she was the most unemotional Dr. I have ever met. She was cold and didn’t even care that I had had this medical issue for the last 9 months that was impacting my day to day life. She didn’t even take the time to review my medical records sent over by my surgeon prior to my visit. She spent most of her time asking me questions Then looking in my records to confirm. All she did was order more tests and and didn’t even give me a solution to help me in in the mean time until the results of her test were performed. Very disappointed??
I have been a patient of Doctor Trans for several years for management of chronic lower back problems. I have received prolotherapy and osteopathic manipulations. Doctor Tran has provided outstanding medical care for me. I give he an outstanding rating!! Friends that I have recommended to Doctor Tran have had the same reaction.
I was referred for chronic neuropathic pain in all four extremities and for evaluation for thoracic outlet syndrome. Dr. Tran only tested me for carpal-tunnel syndrome, prescribed gabapentin, and sent me home for six weeks. Since she said I had only carpal-tunnel syndrome, I suffered for several more months before another doctor diagnosed me with TOS. Dr. Tran had treated a symptom and ignored looking at a cause. She wasted my time and delayed my diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Tran was able to accurately diagnose my back problem and prescribe the appropriate therapies needed. Her professional demeanor and personal care is warm, friendly and comforting. I highly recommend her.
This doctor probably graduated at the top of her class, but has no bedside manner what so ever. Dr Yang on Grey's Anatomy is kinder. She is curt, pompous, arrogant and short on patience for a doctor dealing with people in pain. She should have been a surgeon or something where she has less contact with people who are awake on a daily basis. Perhaps some patients like the no nonsense, here-take-this-med and call me in a month type of doctor; but I do not. I prefer the type of doctor who at least appears to care. Sorry but this is how I, and the other patients in the waiting room last week feel. She needs to bone up on her people skills and learn some compassion to go with her medical knowledge.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
