List of Anne Barlow Barry's Reviews
Dr. Barry is VERY nice but not up to date on pediatrics. We switched after we felt our concerns were falling on deaf ears. Glad we did. Our kids see an actual pediatrician now who caught many of the issues that Dr. Barry was dismissive of. If you are a "watch and wait" type of person, Dr. Barry will be perfect for you. If you have young kids and are concerned about their atypical development and want referrals for services or specialists, do not see her. She really lacked competence on basic issues that could've been treated. Thankfully our child was able to get early intervention and now we have proper diagnosis to get other services too. Early intervention is key! Use a pediatrician, not a family medicine doctor, makes a huge difference in the quality of care. The other issue I had with Dr. Barry's office was they always try and get you to see one of the PA's or NP's. Maybe that's fine for an adult but I want my kid to see an actual doctor.
Outstanding physician! Has true empathy for her patients.highly recommended.
Dr Barry is fine for adults but if you have kids please bring them to a pediatrician. We felt she was not the most up to date on pediatric issues, and once we switched our kids to an actual pediatrician our new providers were shocked at many things Dr. Barry missed. There were common issues (growth, speech, etc) that we’d brought to Dr Barry’s attention. Each time she dismissed our concerns as “normal” and we now know that isn’t the case. Wish we listened to our gut and had seen a pediatrician from the start.
The best Doctor I’ve ever had. Dr. Barry truly cares about her patients and has helped me back to health and happiness
Ann is a very good listener. She hears what you DON'T say as well as what you said.Follow through and expeditious as well.
Met Dr Barry today for the first time. The words that come to mind are caring, smart, intuitive, and nurturing. If you want a doctor that cares about you, see Dr Barry!
She's considerate, intelligent and careful.
Dr Barry is a wonderful person. She always took time, never made me feel rushed, never made me feel like my questions were "stupid", and she was always very proactive with my symptoms. She never hesitated to refer me to a specialist when I was concerned about symptoms. I always appreciated her input and opinion. One of the few doctors out there that truly cares.
Based on incomplete information, Dr. Barry told me I had MS. It took two months to get to an MS Specialist (two months of hell) who told me that I DID NOT have MS. Another time, I saw her with general body pain lasting months. She ordered a hip x-ray and told me I had arthritis in my hip (thus explaining the TOTAL body pain???) when I suggested that Simvastatin can cause such pain, she agreed that I should stop it and see what happens. Pain went away. No replacement med was ordered.
OMG is she just WONDERFUL ~ kind wonderfule little dr

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
