List of Dipakkumar P. Pandya's Reviews
I have been going to Dr. Pandya for almost two years. He has been treating me for my migraines. The first visit with him I told him the issues I was having with my Dr in TX, since I just moved to NJ, and the trouble I was having trying to get my medications refills renewed. I had missed my monthly shot and was starting to have migraine issues. He immediately went and got me the shot and gave it to me in the office. He refilled my prescription for the next year and made a follow-up appointment to see how I was doing six months later. The only issue I have had was a long wait time, but it is better than having my migraines. He is a little hard to understand but he does try to explain everything so I wouldn't have any issues or concerns. He is very thoughtful and wants to make sure you are okay before leaving his office.
In 7 months he never laid a finger on me. Did a EMG at 7 months and it showed nothing we didn’t know 7 months earlier. He did nothing for me for my nuropothy. He also claimed it was all in my head. Yet the EMG showed different. He was also was extremely rude.
Waiting 2 weeks for Dr. Pandya to get back to me about our cousin Michael's condition. Multiple calls made to his office.
I had to wait almost an hour before I was seen. Atleast Dr. Pandya was apologetic about the wait. While he was friendly I found it hard to understand him as English is apparently not his first language. He contradicted the info he had given me on my last visit. In addition, I asked if I could decrease the dosage of the med he prescribes for me and if I should decrease the dosage slowly. He told me I could cut the dosage in half immediately and that I would have no side effects. He was wrong: within a day I started to experience anxiety and depression that mounted quickly. On the fourth day of the decreased dose I called him and informed him of my symptoms. He instructed me to go back to the original dose. It has been a long and slow road back to good mental health for me.
If you enjoy long, long waits in the waiting room (over an hour, sometimes two), being treated like a cow to the abattoir and a total inability to speak directly with a human being between appointments, then this is the doctor for you!
Best doctor I have ever been to. He is treating my sister who has young , early onset ALZ. Dr. Pandya is extremely sensitive with excellent communication skills.
I would not recommend him. My daughter was diagnosed with Lymes and I had 3 lab results from different dates, which had been reviewed over the past year by 5 different doctors, who all agreed it's positive. Not Dr. Pandya! He says all the results were negative. The reason for our visit was to rule out other problems. His exam was a joke and he offered no solutions to her symptoms. Has anyone ever seen a doctor test the knee reflexes while the feet were firmly planted on the floor?
Best neurologist I ever saw in my life too bad I had to leave because of my insurance Tracy Laubach
Any positive review here of Dr Pandya has to be PR from his staff because he is rude, curt and dismissive .. I could accept all that because I am not going to a doctor to be his friend, but he was clueless on how to help me - which actually turned out to be simple when I found another doc .. DO NOT GO TO PANDYA .. He's everything that is wrong with the medical community these days .. Saw me for no more that 5 minutes after he was over an hour late .
I was so unhappy with his approach to my concerns . He said the MRI was a lie and the report used false words. He felt is was necessary to tell me about other patients, I was not there for their problems I was there for me. I will not see him again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
