Dr Vasen is one of the finest Doctor/ surgeon I have had the pleasure of knowing , he is understanding, knowledgeable and he listens to the patients concerns . The procedure that I had was a success from the beginning to the end . I would like to add that the Toms River surgical facility is one of the finest in New Jerey If you are looking for an outstanding Hand surgeon , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Vasen .

I took my mom to see Dr Vasen a month ago due to a fall she had. She broke her left shoulder and 3 fingers on her right hand. She is 87 years old and sometimes gets confused. That's why I felt so compelled to post this review about Dr. Vases. He could not have been nicer, more professional and extremely helpful and kind to my mom. She's now doing wonderful. I then decided to make an appointment for myself because I have been suffering from bone spurs in both my shoulders for over 4 years. The pain had gotten to the point where it was interfering with normal daily activities and I was in constant pain all the time. After my consultation with Dr. Vasen I felt so relieved. He gave me an injection in my left shoulder joint and he was so gentle I hardly felt it. I know of other people that have had the same injection by other Dr's and said that it was extremely painful and hurt for days. Once again Dr. Vasen was extremely professional, understanding and very helpful. He recommended physical therapy 3 days a week and set it up immediately. I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vasen, I am more than happy to have him as my Dr. He is someone who truly cares about his patients and is so kind. Sincerely, Marybeth Holsey

Dr. Vasen is not only a compassionate and professional Orthopaedic Surgeon, his interpersonal skills provide you with confidence during your consultations. Also very friendly with a great sense of humor. Makes you feel very comfortable.
