I’ve been a patient of Charles Daknis for many years dealing with spinal stenosis! Dr. Daknis has kept me relatively pain free with his recommended treatments until recently I was diagnosed with severe problems which necessitated emergency surgery! Dr.Daknis and my surgeon were very patientexplaining the urgency of the procedure! My laminectomy was a complete success and I’m very happy today I listened to them and took their advice! My back is healing well and my spine is free of the constant pain! I would highly recommend him and also the care of Seaview Orthopedics!

Dr Daknis is a caring, compassionate Pain Management doctor. I have a long-standing medical history with him;all of it was (and is) very good! I highly recommend Dr. Charles Daknis's skill in Pain Mgt.

I was referred to this doctor in September of 2019 because of horrific nerve pain in my HANDS. I was being treated by a hand doctor that was not able to help me. I went to Dr Daknis thinking I was going to get an epidural in my neck to relieve the pain in my HANDS as a hand Dr sent me there. In his exact words dr. Daknis said "There is no where to put a needle even if I wanted to" and he sent me to a spine doctor. ( keep in mind this was for HAND NERVE PAIN)I wad told i needed neck surgery? I was told this by him & the spine doctor, Dr.Cohen. Afterwards I went back to Dr Daknis for my follow-up care of pain management. It is now only November 2019 I have 10 screws and a titanium ladder in my neck. Unfortunately I'm not out of pain but I think he's trying. Been there quite awhile now. Pl8-10 still. I do feel however he is truly trying to help meUPDATE:6/27/21 I'm just sitting here not really feeling well at all but thinking how much this doctor hasn't given up on me. He has even encouraged other opinions from other practitioners. I will be having a procedure done on July 9th and I will report back after. I know he is completely skilled and an amazing provider if the procedure does not work it is not reflected upon him he is trying anything he can to help me and I could not be more grateful I truly could not be more grateful. So grateful it is worth reiterating. God has a plan and no we do not know it but there is a reason this doctor's in my life and I believe God led me to him please excuse typos I am voice commanding because the nerve damage is in my hands.UPDATE 11/10/21. IF THERE IS ONE THING I CAN SAY THIS DOCTOR OUT OF DEALING WITH SO MANY DOCTORS IS THE ONE DOCTOR THAT HAS NOT GIVEN UP ON ME I HAVE AN EXTREMELY STRANGE CASE . MY PAIN IS UNBELIEVABLE. MUCH OF THE DAY I WILL SIT AND CRY & TRY TO HIDE IT FROM MY KIDS I HAVE MISSED OUT ON MANY MOMENTS THAT I CAN'T GET BACK AND THIS DOCTOR HAS NOT GIVEN UP ON ME HE TAKES MY CALLS HE CALLS ME RIGHT BACK I CAN HONESTLY SAY I'VE NEVER MET A DOCTOR LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE AND IF HE'S YOUR PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR YOU HAVE FOUND A VERY VERY GOOD ONE & YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN. Office staff was extremely professional, courteous and pleasant. Dr. Daknis took the time to listen to all of my concerns, he addressed them in a manner that I understood clearly. I left the office with the Information I needed, and a plan going forward.
