Thanking my lucky stars and thanking Dr. Heffernan. I’m here because of Dr. Heffernan’s knowledge, expertise and skill. Words can’t describe the gratitude I have for him being there to perform an emergency procedure. I met him the day after the procedure and was thrilled to meet him. A true gentlemen - poised, confident and smart - all the attributes you would want and expect in a great doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a cardiologist. BTW, another tell tale sign that indicates what a great doctor he is, everyone I met post surgery at the hospital loves and respects him, other Doctors, Technicians, Nurses and Staff. A++++

While the office staff may have their downfalls (I personally have never had a problem with them), Dr. Hefferan is an absolute Gem! Soft spoken, terrific bedside manner, listens to all your concerns, and most importantly, is a wonderful clinician! (one of the best, in my opinion). I travel a far distance to take my mom to his office. Well worth the trip!

HORRIBLE. Requested if they could sent my prescription to Caremark . After a month a find out they never did . Call the office and no one wanted to be responsible.

A wonderful caring physician who listens! He takes his time, very thorough, and reassuring! You have complete trust in him. Been both to the Bayonne and Summit offices. Highly recommend!
