**Update: 9 months later they have gotten better about answering the phone. I’m adding a star. ** Wow where to begin with Sanderson and CarePoint Health. Good luck reaching him/them, whether it’s an emergency or not, or business hours or not. They forward their calls to an “emergency” answering service whenever they damn well feel like it—NOT just during lunch hour like the message claims. They then don’t even promptly return these “emergency” messages. It’s like having a ghost doctor. They also screw up referrals. I’m currently stuck at a specialists office on a Friday morning because Sanderson forgot to fill out important parts of the referral and my visit won’t be covered without it. Despite being regular business hours they have forwarded their calls to an answering service. I’ve been waiting for over an hour for them to decide to turn their phone back on, and now it’s the official lunch hour so I will have to wait another hour. This is not the first time it’s been impossible to speak to someone I’m telling you this is a regular occurrence. I’m finding another doctor Sanderson is a GHOST
How can a doctor office that never answers the phone, even when they their message states 'normal business hours' have 5 stars? Sounds impossible to me? Answering service even says they are in the office call every 10 minutes...it rings and goes busy after a few. Why do we need to stop in office, get question from. Nurse why are you here and why didn't you call...I am sorry, ANSWER YOUR PHONE!! Sounds like maybe the insurance companies need to be aware, and whom ever else...maybe Dr. Sanderson doesn't even know what they are doing???
Dr. Sanderson is knowledgeable, caring and overall a fine Doctor! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality physician!
Dr. James Sanderson is knowledgeable, caring and overall a fine Doctor. I would recommend him with no reservations...
Worst Doctor I've ever had. Horrible personal skills. I tried to stick it out with him. When I finally addressed the issue of him not remembering me after 3 years. His reply was literally "If you want a Dr who will remember your name. Then maybe you should go somewhere else" Do not recommend anyone to go to him.
Dr. James Sanderson is literally one of the worst doctors I've ever encountered. I'd been his patient for over 3 years and he never remembered me or even my name. When I finally addressed the fact that he doesn't remember me after all this time. He literally said "If you want a doctor who will remember your name, maybe you should go somewhere else" Horrible person he is.
Very attentive to me ..Answered any questions I may have had.. Friendly and professional.
He looked at his laptop the whole time! I have never been to a doctor who never looked at me, even when I was explaining the problem with my hip! No hello, no goodbye! Handed me 2 scrips, ibuprofen & muscle relaxant.
The worst. Long wait times, uncaring, unattentive barely remembers you from the last visit

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
