Lawrence V. Najarian's Online Review Report Card

I called to make an appointment with Dr.. Najarian and was told I'd have to wait 4 months until February- so I accepted that. I was making the appointment and AFTER taking down all of my information and wasting at least a 30 minutes of time over 2 separate phone calls, was told that I'm scheduled for an appointment with someone I've never heard of before. The whole point of me calling was because I've heard wonderful things about Dr. Najarian from various people and wanted to schedule an appointment for myself. When I voiced this to the receptionist, Jane, she said "oh that must be my fault." This is definitely not the level of professionalism that I come to expect from medical professionals. Just be careful.

I am Dr. Najarian's patient for a long time, and I had always been very happy with the care and attention to patients. He is a great doctor

I have been coming to Dr. Najarian since 2016, and I must say, I cannot imagine taking these eyes to be seen anywhere else. It's been years since I first came to him after being given a scary diagnosis (or what I thought was a scary one at the time), and he calmed me down/explained the condition thoroughly, until I realized it's really not that serious. He's very knowledgeable and has stayed consistent in his kindness and compassion throughout the years. Needless to say, I have since directed my mother into his care as well.

Unfortunately, he always overbooks and makes you wait for one hour. I have been a patient for over 10 years and finally lost my patience with his lack of consideration. I will be looking for a new ophthalmologist.

Dr. Najarian has been my mom's ophthalmologist , he has always been courteous and professional , he give his patients all his attention and time. He gives you an understandable explanation of issues and answers questions thoughtfully. During the cataract surgery, he was very caring and friendly, he made my mom feel like a family member. Dr. Najarian has an amazing office staff, very helpful with mom's every visit. Thank you Dr. Najarian!

If you are looking for good eye care - go someplace else. This office is completely unprofessional - worst office experience ever. Instead of making easy accommodations, Lisa Ortenzio, OD chose to violate HIPPA and shouted across the office at me for all to listen to my personal medical situation. As head of the practice, one would think that Dr Lawrence Najarian would reach out to me, but he didn't. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS.

Extremely pleasant, competent and informative.

My wife and I willingly put our eyes and sight in Dr. Najarian’s hands. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional with a warm bedside manner. Dr. Najarian is thorough and will convey information in as technical a way as patients desire. I just had cataract surgery performed on both eyes (two weeks apart). My sight has not been this clear in years with no side effects. He is a world-class physician. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr Najarian for almost 20 years and many members of my family see him He is a wonderful doctor and a very skilled surgeon. When I had a cataract operation in 2005 some problems that could not have been anticipated were discovered and he handled it perfectly. The nurses and others there all told me I was very lucky Dr Najarian was doing the surgery when the problems were discovered.
