went in with two Cancer problem .. came out with one cancer gone ...still have the a cancer because they can't get the drug.. it's been two year waiting... i think they do a so-so job, so you kept coming back so they can more money... and they gave me a new problem now that i will have for life.. thank's Summit Medical Group for making my life worst then before.. NICE JOB... Look... you have Cancer Please go to a true cancer center.. like M.S.K. or MD Anderson... please trust me you will do better and get better but NOT Summit Medical Group is just a hospital with a cancer dept....M.S.K. & Anderson they do research and work to get you in, and work on the cancer... not just going in and cutting out the cancer every 3 months... like a oil change... so they kept saying the drug is coming , but it never comes ..hope with no end at this place . MD Anderson is a hour and a half for me to drive one way and its worth it.. I have two friends that drove down to MD Anderson. because it's a true cancer center .and now they are cancer free... please, please go to a true cancer not a hospital that says it has a cancer center.... you don't see anyone driving an hour and a half to go to summit Medical cancer center. do you?

Always attentive. I have been here at least 6-7 times and always felt I was well attended to
A nightmare experience awaits with "Dr" DeMasi at SMG in Westfield. Be aware that this man is not an MD. He is a "Medical Review Officer" and his credentials are in Osteopathy. In other words, his training and philosophy are in the body healing itself naturally. Is this realistic in most scenarios? You can decide based on your personal medical issues. I made the mistake of scheduling an appt for a supposed "wellness" visit thinking I'd be getting a check-up. Within 2 or 3 minutes I realized by Mr. DeMasi's nasty demeanor that the inquisition was starting. The "wellness" visit was indeed a Medical Review (this is medicare lingo for determining your eligibility to stay in the program). He bullied me, was very sarcastic and was anything but objective. When I think back to this experience, what bothers me the most is that his behavior is being left unchecked in this facility - he was accountable to no-one. I walked out of the office and it was back to business as usual. Should this facility be managed this way? In closing, a friend had told me that she too had made the mistake of going to Dr. DeMasi for the required "wellness" visit. She referred to him as an "angry barking terrier." Neither of us will be going back. I wonder what his record for one time patients is? Maybe SMG would be wise to make note of this.
I've been going to Dr. Hermann for 10 years and it has been great!! I love the SMG system as well. Referrals go internally, they have weekend and weeknight coverage. Its really been lovely.
All I wanted to say is how UNPROFESSIONAL one of their doctors is. Dr. Diane Heller treated me. Not only did she mock the pain I was in, but then I heard her talking about me and laughing about me with the nurses, all while I was behind a curtain. I heard everything she was saying. I felt humiliated and walked out crying. I don't want to see any doctors now affiliated with Summit Medical Group. She changed my entire outlook of doctors. I never write reviews, but I do not want anyone to have the experience I did with Dr, Diane Heller. She should be ashamed of her actions. PLEAse ask for another doctor if you get her at the Wesfield urgent care.
I haven't felt as frustrated as I did today after leaving Summit Medical Group's Imaging Department in quite some time. After having an appointment canceled on me last week, I waited an hour in the office before being reprimanded by a technician, who told me she took her own time to make a special call to me about not having the proper CDs to do my follow up exam. She was rude and went out of her way to embarrass me. I will not be going back to this imaging place. Go to Barnabas. Better hours and a more professional staff.
Very nice staff, but awfully difficult to schedule a convenient appointment. I moved here hoping that such a large practice group could be more accommodating given the demands of family and work life, but have been disappointed. Moving my healthcare needs elsewhere.
it takes about 3 months to make an appointment with a provider,,on the day of appointment we were late by 15 mins because of rain and traffic and they cancelled us without even informing us. They want us to make another appointment which is another 3 months down the line. That is lack of consideration/respect for patients time. What good is a doctor if the doctor is not available for a patient. If they are overworked and overloaded with patients, it is not a good thing for patients. It is a waste of time to be elbowing people on the road, rushing to an appointment, only to find out that you are not welcome.
So conveniently located and wonderfully staffed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
