I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Costeas and totally agree with everyone else that has given him great reviews. I went to him with concerns about possible arrhythmias I was experiencing. He listened intently to my concerns, was extremely empathetic and kind, and ordered the appropriate tests. When I returned for the follow-up appointment I had an equally great experience. Dr. Costeas came into the examination room and actually APOLOGIZED that I had been waiting awhile (less than ten minutes!) because other patients had arrived late to their appointments and he was a little behind that day. How many times have you experienced that at a doctor’s office? Wonderful, extremely knowledgeable doctor and friendly and efficient staff. If you’re looking for a cardiologist that specializes in arrhythmias, he’s the guy.

This doctor knows what he is doing. As I have stated before, any procedures or tests I've had done through St. Barnabas have been under the best care I have ever experienced. His office, which is in West Orange runs smoothly! His staff are incredible. I have worked with Carmella over the last several months trying to adjust scheduling based on my insurance and rescheduling, moving things around for other procedures in the meantime, and she has always been calm and collected, and a true delight to speak with. They are a professional and helpful team.

Dr. Costeas has been my doctor since I got my pacemaker/defibrillator in 2003. He has always been wonderful, compassionate and kind. He always answers my questions and makes me feel very comfortable. I couldn’t ask for a better Doctor!

He has been my cardiologist and my husbands for many years He is very knowledgeable and empathetic I recommend him and his group to anyone who has an arrhythmia

Forced to wait about an hour while listening to this doctor talk with other patients about absolutely nothing at 7pm. Why? Because he had no idea we were there. Terrible communication within this office in West Orange. Didn't work with the doctor enough to assess his qualifications an don't plan to in the future.

For something that should have taken 15 minutes, we had to wait about an hour in the room before he ever came in because he was joking around with other patients and was shocked to learn that we were even there. Says alot about the office and communication there. Can't say if he is a great doctor but this was obviously a miserable experience and then the copies he had faxed over were not clearly visible which should have been addressed before the visit.
