I went into the ER at Clara Maass, Dr. Nelson popped into and out of the room in LESS than two minutes. He did literally NOTHING. Sometime later I received the most exorbitant bill I have EVER seen (with a clever offer to discount if paid in full immediately). I contacted his billing people and explained they should bill my insurance as they had all the necessary information and if they were not satisfied with what they could cheat them out of, that was their problem. I personally would not recommend Dr. Nelson to treat my dog.

This Doctor is terrible and has no business working in an emergency room setting, and probably shouldn't be involved in the health care industry in any form.

Based on my experience, I don't think this doctor belongs anywhere near an emergency room. When I described my stroke like symptoms and medical history to him, he dismissed what I told him and said there was no need for further testing. This was right after they had me sign the paperwork authorizing payment.
