List of Ranka Samsa's Reviews
Dr. Samsa has been my nephrologist for nineteen years. She is thorough, listens, explains well and has wonderful bed side manner. I know that I am a healthy kidney patient today as a result of Dr. Samsa's exceptional nephrological treatment.
Dr. Samsa has treated me for 7 years. She got my blood pressure under control and kept working with me, despite of my sensitivity to many medications, until my blood pressure was in acceptable range. I continue to see her and respect her expertise and spitfire personality immensely.
Worst Dr. EVER! was my brother's Dr. and didn't care if he lived or died. I wouldn't send a dog to her!! Horrible Dr. and Horrible human being, that's if you can call her that. She shouldn't even have the title of Dr. in front of her name.
Very unprofessional office staff. Dr. Samsa lacks empathy for her patients as well as a decent bedside manner.
Dr. was terrific. Staff seemed fine no issues.
Doctor Samsa it's a good doctor stuff not, specially the lady at front desk with a nasty attitude..
Dr Samsa appears to be a good nephrologist, spent ample time with me on the 1st visit. She took down my medical history and medication allergies personally, and went thoroughly into the details of my situation and what action plan was recommended. I didn't feel I was rushed and was able to ask questions. Ample parking, but the lot is quite full, so leave some extra time to walk from the far areas of the lot. Safe area and easy access. UPDATE June 2018. Dr Samsa has very light office hours. She is almost never there. They canceled me at the last minute for an appointment and there are no openings for 2 months. Beware of the dragon at the desk. They tell all kinds of lies. Such as, the doctor would have called me if there were any abnormalities on my test results. There were extremely abnormally high numbers, and she didn't call. I had to get the results from labcorp and call in with the numbers, only to hear the Dr isn't in for 2 more days. If you need urgent help or are in pain, there is no one there to help you. A blank wall. Keep looking for a real full time doctor with normal business hours and who is responsible enough to review test results, call patients with results, and return phone calls. It looks like she's in the office about 6 hours a week. If you have serious kidney problems this nephrologist simply isn't interested. Disgusted.
Dr Samsa is a very caring doctor. She is very intelligent and explains things in a manner in which her patient can understand. Her bed side manner is wonderful she makes her patients feel good about themselves.
Horrible office staff. We waited over an hour and a half. She wasn’t prepared and didn’t have test results printed or reviewed in advanced. She saw the patient in the hospital and didn’t remember. She is a ditz.
I was a patient of Dr. samsa for many years. She lead me to believe my kidneys were in better shape than they actually are. She totally contradicted everything that I’ve read online about kidney disease. At my last visit she said I was stage 3 with 41% left. It took me having to find a new doctor to get the truth. In reality I’m late stage 4 with 17% function. Her staff even refused to give me my lab results over the phone. MY labs!!! I have every right to MY labs!! So it took me finding a new doctor for him to confirm what I’ve known all along about the shape of my kidneys. I will NEVER go back there again!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
